Ant Middleton got sent to prison after he was convicted of the unlawful wounding of one police officer and of common assault upon a second outside a nightclub in 2013, for which he was sentenced to 14 months in prison. I'm a huge fan of Ant Middleton's no-nonsense style approach to self-improvement and so I got exactly what I was expecting out of his latest, 'The Wall'. the fear of giving offence creates more problems than it solves. Ultimately what you’re scared of is that your hosts won’t like you because you’ve, say, thrown a chewing-gum wrapper on the fire. But most people are reasonable.”

He’s also published fiction too, including the ‘Mallory’ series thrillers ‘Cold Justice’ in 2021, and ‘Red Mist’ in 2023. He explained, "My biggest failure was going to prison, but boy oh boy, was that my biggest learning curve. Why was I there? Talk about self-reflection, talk about holding yourself accountable."
