About this deal

I am afraid that the only real solution to this problem is to sort out the drainage issue, there really isn't much that the appliance repairer is going to be able to do unless he's prepared to get involved in some plumbing work.

Washing Machines Filling From Waste Pipe - UK Whitegoods Washing Machines Filling From Waste Pipe - UK Whitegoods

Often this will start to smell, especially if it's left for a few days in summer, as there's all sorts of gunk in the water that lurks in your drain. More often than not these are directly connected to the sink trap by way of a spigot (they can leak as well) as it is a cheaper and faster fit for the installer. The problem is of course that there's nothing and, I do mean nothing at all, to stop the dirtywater from your sink going straight down there and into the washing machine or dishwasher. I would prefer the valve to go here as the washing machine is fitted into the kitchen units, so it would be the easiest option.

This is probably one of the most common complaints that we hear, the machine fills with water when it's off or fills with dirty water, we will explain what's going on. https://www.lowcostbathrooms.com/kitchen-sinks-228614207/carron-phoenix-sinks-228614459/carron-phoenix-stainless-228614461/carron-phoenix-stainless-kitchen-11295.htm If you're a regular Superdrug shopper, you can now earn more freebies and discounts under its Health & Beautycard loyalty scheme, as the retailer has launched new 'VIP Rewards' as part of it. If your washing machine is going to be more than a hose length away from a suitable place to put this type of connection, you will have to insert an ordinary T piece (the installation is the same if you use a compression fitting) and instead of the hose going on the T, another copper pipe is fitted, taking the water to the location of the machine. We had to resort to a hot wash to clean the washing machine at home together with a clothes bleach, in a pink tub from Wilkos. Used a double/triple dose, certainly helped. Also then did a hot wash with a generous, ½ bottle, of disinfectant, nice pine smell afterwards !

Washer water pouring into Dishwasher. What part do I need

I'd change the layout of the pipes. The washing machine waste should come in at the top of the unit and down to the outlet only. The downpipe from the sink should come down lower, get rid of the grey pipe to outside and take the white pipe out the wall where the grey goes out. Its stance of putting consumers first is protected and enshrined in the legally-binding MSE Editorial Code. I'd undo all the white pipes under the sink - they are all dismantleable. See if it's clean and free-flowing.Since this problem largely happens whilst the appliances are under guarantee it is very worthwhile pointing out that the appliance manufacturers will NOT pay for this sort of rectification work. So far as they are concerned (quite rightly) this is an installation issue and, whether you installed the machine yourself or a kitchen company, retailer or whoever did it for you, it's wrong. This is considered to be a poor installation and not a fault with the appliance. The last, and easiest of them all, is the self cutting valve that clamps onto the pipe, the handle is turned and it cuts a hole in the copper pipe. The hose is then screwed on as before. Ok, so I agreed to that. However, on showing me the kit I told him it was not the same as the existing setup. This is because We have a sink and one of them tiny sinks next to it. Sorry, I don't know what this sink is called, but I just looked on Google and I think they are called 1.5 Bowl sink with drainer, like this style. Could a solution be as simple as fitting a 'conversion' bend in to that waste side entry, elbowing upwards and the AAV W/M connector being fitted the right way up? I wonder if there's room under that sink? This pipe must be clipped to the wall with pipe clips. A valve must then be added to the end of this pipe so your machine can be connected. Either of the two remaining valves can be fitted.
