About this deal

That’s not to say the HiTune is better than some branded earbuds costing many times more. There are intrinsic details that casual listeners won’t notice. At the end of the day, you buy a budget-priced earbuds not to expect first-class experience. But I feel the HiTune get great value for money. When watching videos on YouTube, the earbuds tend to produce high pitch tones that can be overwhelming sometimes. Other than that, there's nothing much else to point out. Overall, the sound quality is great, as long as you can live with its low bass level. How is the HiTune T1 for gaming? We're guessing that the earbuds are still fairly brand new thus the battery can last up longer than what it is rated for. Battery score: 5/10 Earfun Free – The Earfun free offers similar bass feel, but it feels more prominent because the treble is slightly more recessed into the mix compared to the HiTune while remaining clear. It transmits wireless audio up to AAC only. HiTune offers a clearer audio impression. UGREEN, a leading manufacturer of electronic accessories and consumer technology products, has today announced a new addition to its TWS earbuds portfolio: the HiTune T2 Low Latency True Wireless Earbuds.

As UGREEN does not specialise in audio products, I am surprised that the HiTune audio tuning has good balance. It goes to show that earbuds have commoditized so much that it’s actually not difficult for manufacturers to build good quality products at a low price.Ideally, I’d like just a little more bass to give some more depth but at this price point, they are still overdelivering as an allrounder pair of buds. HiTune TWS uses the premium Qualcomm QCC3020 chipset supporting aptX codec and concurrent connection from the smartphone to both earbuds. Pairing is hassle free: when no device is connected, the earbuds will go into pairing mode. To accommodate different ear sizes and shapes, UGREEN included 4 different silicone ear tips; extra small, small, medium, and large. This, of course, already include the pre-installed silicone ear tip. In a saturated earbud market, it’s easy to end up choosing a product that doesn’t deliver. Whether on sound quality, compatibility, ease of use, weight, and comfort, earbuds vary across the board. You can potentially spend 100s of dollars on top-end earbuds and end up with something that falls out of your left ear repeatedly, doesn’t connect, or sounds terrible.

However, this can be extended up to 27 hours. The capsule-style charging case will hold 18 hours of power, or, can fully charge the buds 2x whilst travelling. However, thanks to the choice of ear tips, the UGREEN HitTune X5 earbuds are comfortable, don’t feel heavy in the ear, and don’t shake loose when you’re moving. There is also a gaming mode. It is 70ms low-latency and perfect for all types of games. Voice CallsIf listen to our recording, you'll notice that our voice is a bit weak. We are not certain what causes this other than the hardware performance of the microphones. Fortunately, our voice was still detailed, clear, and easy to understand. As part of this mission, whenever we review a product we send the company a series of questions to help us gauge and make transparent the impact the device has on the environment. If you visit the UGREEN YouTube Channel, there’s a great playlist of short how-to… videos covering the full functionality of the HiTune Earbuds. The Ugreen HiTune T3 have a likable, rich sound that will appeal more to casual users than it would do to those after a clinical and altogether more balanced performance – like the Cambridge Melomania 1+. Voice is voice, but over the past few years, we’ve become used to improved audio over telephone and VoIP calls. With the UGREEN HiTune X5 earbuds, you can expect good call clarity thanks to the CVC and ENC (combined, they reduce ambient noise by a massive 91 percent). However, while perfect for calls, these earbuds aren’t suitable for podcasting or game streaming. They should be fine for Zoom meetings, however. Battery Life, Comfort, and General Usage

The HiTune X5 True Wireless Stereo Earbuds WS108 have Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, with HSP, HFP, AVRCP and A2DP profiles for the necessary headset, handsfree, and remote-control features. The earbuds use the Qualcomm aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs. It looks like UGREEN is aware of this issue that's why they seem to compensate it with the inclusion of what they call, a Superb EQ mode. The obvious positive is that bass is granted a big, emphatic presence with the frequency range, not something that’s a guarantee for cheaper true wireless as bass can often be a weakness at default volumes. That is not an issue where the Ugreen is concerned.

All in all, the UGREEN HiTune T1 is an excellent affordable earbud. It's a cheap way to replace your wired earphones or headphones without breaking the bank. Its sound quality is excellent considering its price and overall experience is outstanding. However, the earbuds are far from perfect. The microphone is decent but needs certain adjustments to improve its overall performance. It also needs some fine-tuning in the bass department since is SuperBass mode doesn't really increase or power up the bass significantly. Criteria
