Description

Shielded Category 5 (or above) cabling with drain wire should be used for all outdoor wired Ethernet connections and should be grounded through the AC ground of the PoE. Please Note: This product does not come with a PoE Injector. If this is required, please select it from the drop-down menu above. Ubiquiti airMAX NanoStation LOCO5AC We recommend that you protect your networks from harmful outdoor environments and destructive ESD events with industrial-grade, shielded Ethernet cable from Ubiquiti. For more details, visit ui.com/toughcable This can be either as single antenna to a single recipient, as illustrated in the first image above, or as two (or more) antennas connected together as a series of Point-to-Point links spanning a larger distance, as illustrated in the second image above. The indoor/outdoor NanoStation® AC is a compact, high-performance CPE featuring airMAX® AC technology and a dedicated Wi-Fi radio for management

AirOS is the intuitive, versatile, highly developed Ubiquiti firmware technology. It is exceptionally intuitive and was designed to require no training operate. Behind the user webinterface is a powerful firmware architecture which enables hi-performance networking. Additionally, the AirControl application allows operators to centrally manage 100's of devices. without disabling the wireless link, so there is no disruption to the network. In airView, there are three spectral views, each of which represents different data: waveform, waterfall, The quoted wireless specification is given as the maximum radio performance. Achievable range and throughput will vary depending on the regional regulations where the radio is deployed. Ubiquiti Networks set the bar for the world's first low-cost and efficient broadband Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) with the NanoStation® M.

The NanoStation AC Loco features integrated airMAX (MIMO TDMA protocol) technology and dedicated Wi-Fi management. The low cost, high performance, and small form factor of the NanoStation AC Loco makes them extremely versatile and economical to deploy. It also features the classic NanoStation design with updated proprietary airMAX ac chipset. The base station is usually located on the top of a tower, building or mast with the height determining maximum coverage. When planning the base station, it's usually ideal to plan for an antenna with the smallest coverage that still covers the desired area. Antennas with a wider beam width, covering a wider zone reaching more stations, may be more susceptible to interference, resulting in decreased scalability and performance. Low capacity and short distance Base Station (ideal for starters in areas with low interference) Unlike standard WiFi protocol, Ubiquiti’s Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller. This time slot method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximises airtime efficiency, so airMAX technology provides performance improvements in latency, noise immunity, scalability, and throughput compared to other outdoor systems in its class. The LOCO5AC gets maximum gain out of the smallest footprint. The low cost, high-performance, and small form factor makes this CPE extremely versatile and economical todeploy. airFiber is Ubiquiti's own proprietary custom silicon and implements the most efficient use of licensed and unlicensed-band spectrum – a vital attribute in increasingly crowded RF environments. Featuring a unique dual-antenna design and proprietary self-interference cancellation algorithms, airFiber solutions extract more usable channels out of the available spectrum than any other radio system. airFiber’s built-in configuration tool guides the selection of RF channel bandwidths, transmit power, and other parameters to minimise potential interference and optimise link budgets.
