About this deal

The day I meet with single dad, Jacob Broaden, about potentially matching his daughter with one of our service dogs, I learn a few valuable lessons. If I waited until I felt confident to live my life and do the things I want to do, I’d never live.” He stares into my eyes. “This lesson is one as old as time: Fake it till you make it. If you want something, pretend you’re the kind of person who’s not scared of it.”

Listen to me, darlin’, and remember this for the rest of your life: it’s always okay to go home. Anytime you feel uncomfortable or scared, never worry about what anyone else is going to think if you call your daddy and have him come get you. Your house is a safe place, and you love being there, and that’s something to be proud of, not embarrassed about.” Sarah Adams’ novel “The Enemy” is set a dozen years after June Bug last saw Ryan Henderson. He had once won the battle of wits and outsmarted her but now she intends to renew the war. Adams always dreamed of growing up to become an author from when she was little, but it took quite a while before she attained her dream. Unfortunately, I don't hold that opinion of him for very long. Not when he shows me a different side of himself--one that's sweet as maple syrup and hot as apple pie fresh out of the oven. And after a few days of working closely with him and his daughter, he starts looking at me with fire in his eyes, making me dream of something I probably shouldn't... Do you see now? You’re always giving me things that remind you of me, but I’m over here stealing things that remind me of you. I’m not humoring you, Bree. I’m not taking this lightly. I’m so devastatingly in love with you, it hurts sometimes—and I have been since high school.”Unfortunately, I don’t hold that opinion of him for very long. Not when he shows me a different side of himself—one that’s sweet as maple syrup and hot as apple pie fresh out of the oven.

Unfortunately, he shows a different side of himself and her opinion of him changes as she learns that he can be as hot as freshly made apple pie and sweet as maple syrup. But she thinks Jake is so far out of her league that she has no chance of playing in his game. Then Evie meets Jacob Broaden and there are instant sparks—but not the good kind. Although his ten-year-old daughter, Sam, was recently diagnosed with epilepsy, the newly single dad had no idea she set him up for an initial client meeting with Evie. It doesn’t take long for Jacob to be convinced that Evie, and her magical, woodland-green eyes, might just be the best thing for him and his daughter. Anyways, I just decided that if I’m never going to be good enough for them, I might as well have them be disappointed in me for doing something I love rather than living a life that makes me feel like crap.” Unfortunately, I don't hold that opinion of him for very long. Not when he shows me a different side of himself-one that's sweet as maple syrup and hot as apple pie fresh out of the oven. And after a few days of working closely with him and his daughter, he starts looking at me with fire in his eyes, making me dream of something I probably shouldn't… Sarah Adams is a bestselling romance author from Nashville, Tennessee best known as the author of the “Dalton Family” series of novels. Having been raised in the American south, she has a love for warm days, her family and making people smile.I am the quiet one in my family. The one with her nose always in a book because she prefers worlds where she doesn’t have to interact with other humans. It’s so much easier to read about relationships than to foster them. Less dangerous too.” The Matchwas a wholesome romantic comedy about two individuals who fall in love in an unconventional way. That synopsis sounds swoony! I haven’t done a buddy read in quite some time and I think that might just be the thing for me right now to get a little more motivated to read. Sounds like one that I will enjoy as well. It was so heartwarming to see Evie jump all in with Sam. Jake is a single dad and Sam rarely sees her mother. So it was sweet that she took such a liking to Evie and how Evie really loved Sam with her whole heart. Too bad this guy is so far out of my league that I shouldn’t even be allowed to enter the game. Jake doesn’t seem to get that memo though. And after a few days of working closely with him and his daughter, he starts looking at me with fire in his eyes, making me dream of something I probably shouldn’t…

Evie Jones has dedicated her life and very limited funds working for Southern Service Paws, the company that matched her with the love of her life: Charlie, a service-dog trained to assist with her epilepsy. But it’s no secret that the company has been struggling to make ends meet. It’s up to her and her long-time mentor and boss to throw the fundraiser of a century to keep the doors open. The Match is a feel-good romantic comedy! Perfect for readers who enjoy a sizzling romance without explicit content.” I think we'll get hurt a lot in this life, but maybe it's worth it because sometimes we will experience really amazing things, too. Maybe not everything will end in hurt. But we'll never know if we don't try.”But he seems to have never gotten the memo as after several days of working together he starts looking at her with fiery eyes. This makes her dream of things she probably should not be thinking about.

Born and raised in Nashville TN, Sarah Adams loves her family, warm days, and making people smile. Sarah has dreamed of being a writer since she was a girl, but finally wrote her first novel when her daughters were napping and she no longer had any excuses to put it off. A lot has changed over the years as she now runs and owns a popular bakery in town and plans to show him just how successful she is. But there is one problem, Ryan is still very handsome and he was not supposed to come after her like the sexy guided missile he is. I hadn’t heard of The Match until Kayla @ Book and Blends recommended it as a buddy read for us. I’m so happy she put it out as a choice because I absolutely adored it. Everyone remarks on how cute the cover is, but the story inside is even cuter. It’s one of those books I loved from the moment I started reading right until the very end. From the New York Times bestselling author of Practice Makes Perfect comes an expanded edition of The Match—a charming romance novel about second chances and the healing power of love, with a never-before-seen chapter Unfortunately, I don’t hold that opinion of him for very long. Not when he shows me a different side of himself—one that’s sweet as maple syrup and hot as apple pie fresh out of the oven. And after a few days of working closely with him and his daughter, he starts looking at me with fire in his eyes, making me dream of something I probably shouldnt…

Sometimes a woman is just worn out and needs a break, you know?” The lines on her forehead deepen. “That doesn’t prove that you’re weak or neglectful, it proves to all the women standing by and watching you pave the road to success that it’s okay to say no. It’s okay to shut your door every now and then and put up a sign that says Busy taking care of me today. Piss off.” It was humorous, adorable, and swoony. There were so many moments that had me smiling and laughing. Evie was a breath of fresh air. She was slightly cooky, but in a sweet way. Even when she acted on the crazy side, what could have been creepy turned out cute. I can’t even explain it. The way she was with everyone from her dog to Sam to Jake made me love her even more. I also appreciated how she stood up for herself against her horrible, wealthy parents. And Jake… Even when I felt like I should have disliked him, I loved him. He was such a great father, brother, and son. How he saw Evie made me so happy for her. Their relationship was so cute and fun to read about, and it had just the right amount of drama. While writing is something that Sarah always dreamed of doing, it would take many years before she achieved the goal. It was not until she had two children that she started writing.
