About this deal

One of THE most disappointing ends to a series. I was so bored skimming the last 40% of this and I'm glad it's over so I can read something else.

I enjoyed reading the series. Although I felt there was some sadness assosiated in the end and even though in every book there was a different POV (and it might be confusing sometimes because u need to remind yourself who is talking and thinking right now) you got to know every character (well at least 5) pretty close. Puiki istorija primenanti apie paprastas žmogiškas vertybes, tokias kaip apkabinimas, žmogiškas ryšys, rūpestis. Elena net nenutuokia, jog vienas jos priimtas sprendimas, taip smarkiai pakeis daugelio žmonių gyvenimus..I am presently working on a YA paranormal/time travel story, and a contemporary novel based on real events. I began reading this book this summer, for it is referenced many times in "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne. Now, some people may thing The Secret is a lot of hooey (especially because, due to its popularity, it has been the subject of much scrutiny and criticism) - but that's okay, the Truth is the Truth regardless of what "other people" think or the source where you find it. It's no wonder that after reading this book, Bill Gates dropped out of college and followed his dream via the methods outlined in this book. See what happens when one man understands the power of thought? One can literally change the world.

the Key by Ruth Explanation, Summary + Review: The Turn of the Key by Ruth

Like every MacLean book, you have a sort of 'everyman' anti-hero caught up in a dangerous, thrilling situation. Of course this man is more than he seems and this will come out as the story progresses. In the prologue to this story, a small cargo aircraft carrying cargo (of some value it seems) from Colombia to Florida is shot down by a fighter jet. This is witnessed (via radio communication) by the partner (and pilot's brother) of the cargo business. Also on board is the wife and child of the man witnessing the event. Valentino had disappeared. I went through the doorway, slowed up and moved to one side round the edge of the door as if I were waiting for Royale to catch up and show me where to go, then whirled round and smashed the sole of my right foot against the door with all the speed and power I could muster. Der Roman spielt auf zwei Zeitebenen, einmal im Jahr 1959 und im Ja This third complaint is connected to the second. One of the main goals of authors is to provoke feelings from readers. As I didn't get attached to the characters, their deaths didn't provoke any emotion from me.I finished my drink and got up. The heavy library door opened outwards into the passage and Royale, gun in hand, stood to one side to let me pass through first. He should have known better. Or maybe my limp deceived him. People thought my limp slowed me up, but people were wrong. The title of the book does not go with the content of the book. When we read such a title, we expect something big that can be termed as the Master Key but no such content was there in the book. There are many other books on this topic that have the same content presented in a better way. With a better structure, better layout, better language. Except for a few things like the solar plexus, the book does not have something different to offer.
