Knee rail straps are supplied flat or with one 90 degree bend which can then be installed , bent into shape and secured with nails.For all applications to enhance bolt performance by reducing timber rotation and joint movement. Place between timbers on an M12 bolt prior to tightening. For butt jointing timbers of a similar cross section with no need to drill and screw which causes weak points. Solves the problem of rotted posts that have broken off at ground level but are in sound concrete base. Use under bolt head and tail nut. Spreads the load of bolt head around the hole, thereby avoiding fretting and timber damage. Fix on each side of the timber joint using 30 x 3.75mm square twist nails in all available nail holes.
