Rachel Carpenter: This breast pump is really efficient at pumping milk. I've found it far more comfortable to use than the hand pump and it's particularly good as it's small and portable. I'll definitely be taking this away on holiday with me and won't be worrying about it taking up space in my bag. I've found I can do other things at the same time as pumping as I'm able to walk round using the product which I wouldn't have expected to be able to. I have to say I'm very impressed! The pump has two settings – stimulation and expression. The first gives a tingling sensation and stimulates milk production. Once milk starts to flow you can switch to expression mode and keep going until you have enough. I always express after Wills has finished feeding so it doesn’t take much to stimulate before the milk flows steadily. Tracy: The only change I would like is if the manufacture could provide a little storage bag with the product to make transportation a little easier. Overall, I was very impressed with this product and I found that my bottle fussy little one took her feed from this bottle very well too! I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends.

At first this pump wasn’t too bad, it did the job for a newborn who only needed a few spoonfuls of colostrum at each feed. The pump functioned well and was easy to use and clean. After my milk came in I began to see that this pump was ineffective to what I needed it for. It became painful to use and the buttons that switched the setting from “massage” to “draw” became extremely temperamental. I persevered with this pump until 3 weeks old until the button no longer worked and I had to buy a new pump. Overall I am unimpressed with this pump. Read more I’m a first time mum so I didn’t know what to get in this respect, however I came across this Nuby pump on sale so thought why not. I love that you express straight into the bottles, I was managing 4-5 oz in 15-20 minutes (one breast) and this was when my baby was only a few weeks old, so if I had carried on (I only managed to breast feed for 4 weeks as my baby just wouldn't latch, and I was not established enough to solely express, plus only one breast was producing milk, so was forced to stop) i'm sure I could have got much more. Nuby’s Natural Touch not only has a wordy title to live up to, but claims to encourage milk let down and mimic your baby's feeding action by drawing milk from the breast, as opposed to squeezing the nipple. The Nuby pump in my opinion was exceptionally good value for a very modern technology. Not only is the product chargeable so you can take it out and about, but it is a closed system to easy to clean after use.
