With the addition of Mirror's unique sound effects, it becomes much easier to learn if your opponent has it or not. In Chapter 77, Sakura uses The Mirror to transform into Flight and allow Akiho to fly to get to where the dragon is.

On uncapped modes certain interactions change compared to Tournament Standard if both players are at the highest Level, where Mirror produces level 16 cards. Take note of the following interactions to know which cards are more or less favorable to Mirror. She is under The Earthy card, despite having a connection with The Watery card from Sakura's fortune telling. This is because a mirror is made from glass and metal, which are extracted from the ground.One fall day, an exact copy of Sakura suddenly appears out of the blue in Tomoeda and proceeds to cause all kinds mischief and mayhem. This corresponds to volume 3 of the manga and Episode 25 of the anime. The erratic trouble is inevitably shifted onto the real Sakura despite protesting her not knowing of any of this happening. Later, it is revealed that a card is impersonating Sakura. After seeing the trouble-making replica of herself, Sakura consults the Clow Cards using them for fortune telling. At this point (in the manga) she has ten cards: Wood, Windy, Watery, Shadow, Jump, Fly, Illusion, Sword, Thunder and Flower, and twenty-four in the anime. In the Clear Card Arc, under Syaoran's command, the star clasps on her hair are replaced by crescent moons. On 2/11/2016, a maintenance break, decreased the Level 8 Mirror's Mirrored card Level by 1. This was to fix a bug where cards above the max Level did not appear. Lay the plate face up on the bed of an etching press (or see here for a press-less method). Blot the soaked paper. It should feel damp but not be dripping wet. Lay the paper on the plate and cover with a blanket. Roll it through the press, set with a tight pressure.

It is easy to tell that an opposing player has the Mirror, as it is the only way to deploy a card twice in a row or have two of the same card at different Levels on the field. However, Spear Goblins from the Goblin Hut/ Goblin Gang and Spear Goblins from the card can have different Levels on the same field. The same goes for the Fire Spirit, Skeletons, Barbarians, Goblins, Minions, Musketeers, Bats, and Royal Recruits. In 2v2, it is also possible that two players from the same team use the same card of different Levels. If the player accidentally plays a card too early or otherwise at the wrong time, they can use the Mirror to play that same card again but at the cost of 1 additional Elixir.Syaoran used The Mirror in Chapter 37 to cover for Sakura in the school while she was dealing with a Clear Card. The Mirror is 1 of 2 cards which does not appear in the player's starting hand, with the other being Elixir Collector. Right before she is sealed away, Mirror (now in her normal visible form and crying) floats over to a bruised and unconscious Touya and tearfully apologizes to him, kissing him on the forehead and saying: " I'm sorry". Mirror is then sealed away and Sakura rushes to embrace her injured brother.

Fortune Telling: All Clow Cards have the ability to help their user predict the future. Their method of fortune-telling is similar to that of tarot cards. The interpretation of the message the Clow Cards relay depends on the magical power of the user. The Mirror is a high-risk, high-reward card. If played correctly using powerful cards like the Giant Skeleton or P.E.K.K.A., the resulting push can have a devastating snowball effect. The kanji at the top of the card: 鏡, (Pronounced Kagami) means 'mirror' or 'looking glass' in Japanese.By using Mirror on a Clone and using it on a Champion, it is actually possible to get a Level 15 Champion. The Mirror may act as an "ambassador" of sorts for the Cards, as she is able to interact with them and give information to Sakura on the cards' behalf, as she states that not all of them have the ability to "speak".

The card ventures down and is surprised to find Touya at the bottom still conscious, albeit barely and in a great deal of pain. Kneeling down beside him, it is further surprised when he insists on continuing the search despite his injuries and her previous deception. He talks to the card, believing it to be some kind of lost spirit. His sincerity and unexpected kindness affect her and this seems to stir something deep inside the card. Under Kero's instructions on how to cut the cards and place them, Sakura asks them who opposes her. This strategy is especially effective during the double-Elixir period, allowing the player to Mirror the above cards more easily and support them. On 15/12/2016, the December 2016 Update, increased the Level 8 Mirror's Mirrored card Level by 1; the bug above was finally fixed. On 12/9/2022, a maintenance break, reverted the Mirror to its state before 4/4/2022. More specifically, it decreased all Mirrored cards Level by 1, making a Level 14 Mirror deplay Level 15 cards once again.This is an intaglio process which means that lines are drawn into the plate, inked up, wiped and then printed onto dampened paper. Ideally, an etching press is used to print (but we have a method for printing without a press here).
