If you are new to Dolby Atmos, here’s the science bit: “This advanced technology delivers moving audio – a complete atmosphere of sound, with individual sounds that can be precisely placed and moved all around the listener, even overhead.” Although you need a Dolby Atmos compatible amp and God knows how many speakers in your room to really get the benefit, we are assured that this will provide “an enhanced sound experience on any surround sound set-up”. Between 1980 and 1984, INXS released four studio albums and had toured their native country Australia extensively. The release of Listen Like Thieves and its second single "What You Need" in 1985 brought the group international acclaim, as well as a breakthrough in the United States. [5] The album peaked at No.11 on the US Billboard 200, and featured the band's first top 5 single in the US, " What You Need". [6] After that success, the band knew their next album would have to be better. According to guitarist and saxophonist Kirk Pengilly, "We wanted an album where all the songs were possible singles". The 2017 listing of this half speed/Abbey Road release has a half speed mastering certificate listed. And from my experience with having a few of them, they’re always included. Mine didn’t come with it - missing? not with this version? Great reissue!! Not noise, great sound, bass and high frequencies, very, very clear sound! So happy with this edition (I can't compare, cos I don't own other version, but this is very good)It was a Fats Domino, bluesy, kind of Rolling Stonesy, early sixties song. I heard it and thought we could do more and came up with the idea to substitute strings for the piano. That changed everything. It was what the song deserved because in structure and lyrics it was so strong already".
