DS-2CD2347G1-LU 4MP IP ColorVu Audio Turret Hikvision DS-2CD2347G1-LU 4MP IP ColorVu Audio Turret

This is an initial review of the interesting Hikvision DS-2CD2087G2-L(U) ColorVu 4K 8MP IP bullet camera, linked to the marketing terms ColorVu 2.0 and Accusense 2.0 The camera isn’t correctly reporting Smart Events to the NVR or management system. While VCA data is being passed over correctly, intrusion detection and line crossing detection are labelled as motion detection. This doesn’t seem to depend on the active codec. Tested via DS-7604NI-K1/4P with 3.4.103 firmware. In the parallel post for this type of camera, spammenotinoz asked me to post a BI stats clip ( Hikvision ColorVu + 4K (DS-2CD2087G2-L)). I note you don’t use BI but if you look at that, although I now realise there are no column headings, it shows (for my fps of 10), the key frame (i-frame) rate from the camera is wrong (10.02/0.1) (10 seconds). It’s set at 20 in the camera and so should be 0.5/s. I recall 50 is the default. We can conclude, therefore, that as well as CBR/VBR, several parameter settings in the ‘Video/Audio’ tab are ignored. We have received a test version of the new firmware update which we have shared directly with some of our own customers experiencing issues with the AcuSense cameras, but Hikvision support has asked us not to share this version publicly yet as like with the v135 firmware it may cause other issues and may get pulled before going public. The combination of 4K 8MP resolution and a low-light performance similar to the familiar DS-2CD2347G1-L(U) ColorVu makes this an excellent surveillance camera.

DS-2CD2387G2-LU ColorVu turret cameras? Best settings for DS-2CD2387G2-LU ColorVu turret cameras?

Disclosure : The device under review was provided by Andy of @EMPIRETECANDY in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. WDR is better when it's dark but looks too light during the day, also I'm struggling with exposure, currently at 1/150 but dark at night. The camera uses the Hi3516CV500 SoC which has a fast dual-core CPU with secure boot and built-in NNIE (Neural Net Inference Engine) for video analytics. The G1 ColorVu is single-core.Startup and Operating Conditions: -30 °C to +60 °C (-22 °F to +140 °F), humidity 95% or less (non-condensing)

DS -2CD2347G1 L(U) 4 MP ColorVu Fixed Turret Network Camera - DVS

VBR stands for variable bit rate and allows the bit rate to vary but maintains a constant video quality level H.264 is generally the most reliable for video quality (it compresses the video less than H265/H.265+), Protocols TCP/IP, ICMP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DHCP, DNS, DDNS, RTP, RTSP, RTCP, PPPoE, NTP, UPnP™, SMTP, SNMP, IGMP, 802.1X, QoS, IPv6, UDP, Bonjour Am very happy with the images apart from the porch camera which is affected slightly by the close proximity of the porch light: It causes a slight purple haze, and darkens the image further out, even thought the light itself is not in direct view of the camera. I need to try and change the porch light to see if I can improve the situation. I currently have Firmware: V5.5.134 build 200430 installed out of the box, I'm hoping the update will provide RTMP but not sure if that is supported for this camera yet, I tried installing the firmware that Dave over at DVS was talking about in the YouTube video but that didn't work either.

CPU utilisation in Live View is about a third less than G1 ColorVu using the LocalServiceComponent Windows helper and Firefox. It’s useful to be reminded that even with 4K resolution, a 2.8mm lens may not be a great choice for that facial detail. At the time of writing, the Hikvision EU and UK firmware portals don’t seem to have caught up with this model. The firmware has some rough edges, so there should be some updates out soon. So what I’ve done here is some sample snapshots from the 8MP DS-2CD2087G2-LU, the original 4MP IPC-T2347G-LU (DS-2CD2347G1-LU) and the 8MP IPC-T2385G-I (DS-2CD2385G-I). However, I can't seem to get the two-way audio working. I am using the Hik Connect app (version 4.7.1.0818). When I select the microphone icon in the live view for a given camera, it shows the screen below, I then speak but no audio is played through the camera.

I bought a Hikvision NVR (DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P) and a Hikvision DS-2CD2347G1-LU camera. The problem is that the camera is not working properly or I have something wrong. Smart Event Line crossing detection, intrusion detection, object removal detection, unattended baggage detection, Face Detection No unfortunately not - the K series uses different firmware. I’d assumed the issue was with the camera firmware rather than NVR. Thanks @alastairstevenson helping us here for the colorvu cams G1 and G2 compare. Though are don't sell hikvision cams a lot, but still try to make this forum with more diversified

Behavior Analysis: Line crossing detection, intrusion detection, object removal detection, unattended baggage detection After a few weeks of using it I can say this is a great camera and great value for money. Camera is well made and is very easy setup. Being unfamiliar with Hikvision, there are quite a few settings that I don’t know what they mean and I may ask for an explanation in due course if that’s OK...
