Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a 2021 computer-animated comedy film directed by Swinton Scott (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Jeff Kinney, based on his 2007 book of the same name. It is the second film adaptation of the book, following the 2010 live-action film, while serving as the first fully-animated reboot in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series, and the fifth installment overall. The film stars the voices of Brady Noon, Ethan William Childress, Chris Diamantopoulos, Erica Cerra, and Hunter Dillon.

I'm really hoping that this book will become a movie like many of Cameron's other books. It's sort of like, Little Miss Sunshine, but with dogs! It would be amazing. Nobody Hollywood cares what I think, but I'd love to see Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson as JayB and Alana. How fun would that be? First, this book is nowhere near my normal reading material. I don't mind a dog in the story but a story with talking animals is usually a big "no" for me. Now with that said, I enjoyed this one and the perspective of Clancy. It was so funny.....laugh out loud funny. The MC and his dog, Clancy, made for a fun listen. I loved the humor and it was a heartwarming story. This really was the perfect book for my mood today. Do not use any flea treatments or wormers during the period of gestation without first consulting your vet. Week two- Days 7- 14 Greg Heffley is a 12 year old who is fresh out of elementary and transitions to middle school, where he has to learn the consequences and responsibility to survive the year. Clancy is a recent addition to this family, but it isn’t his first home. Before coming to list with JayB, his first person that he lived with when he was a puppy had many dogs, followed by a woman with a baby, and then a man who just like the others didn’t really seem to have time to be with Clancy. And Clancy knew that not only did he want more, he needed someone who would be his person, someone ’...who commits to loving us unconditionally.’DAY 761 - Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair ... must try this on their bed. If that means loading into a conversion van with a bunch of crazy people and their dogs, well let's go, he thinks! I've heard so much about Bruce Cameron's books and was excited to start this one but I'm really disappointed.

At the beginning of the new school year, Greg laments that “this whole popularity” thing has become so much more complicated, now that he’s in middle school.
