Beconase is a nasal spray intended for the relief of hayfever symptoms in adults (18 and over ) which contains 50 micrograms of the active ingredient beclometasone dipropionate per 100 mg spray. As beclometasone reduces inflammation it's also found in various medicines used to treat inflammatory conditions in other parts of the body. These include beclometasone inhalers for asthma, beclometasone creams and ointments for eczema, and Clipper tablets for inflammatory bowel disease.
