beautiful plum/berry + marshmallow scent. not the best longevity but i could care less since it's so soft and comforting. I will try to spray it on clothes to see how it holds; I don't like putting chemicals on my skin anyway. While Moonlight isn't a heavy perfume it's also not quite as fresh and light to my usual liking, which is probably down to the plum note! And for the record; I blind-bought this perfume purely for the marshmallow note, which I'm generally speaking *obsessed* with. But I'm not getting that powdery fresh-out-of-the-bag marshmallow I was expecting. Moonlight opens with prunes and clean sheets--but then dries down to peach yogurt cups--the lactose free kind with the pro-biotics. As many others have mentioned there just seems to be something off in many of the Ariana fragrances. Something that just does not meld together right. Whether it be the smell of something burning (lol) or of chemicals there just seems to be something off with each that I have tried.

I was really intrigued with the notes in this. I found a small bottle at Winners. I like it, but I am not sure I would replace it if something happened to it. I put my nose to my skin and I can get the faintest trace of marshmallows, plum and amber. It smells lovely and so pretty and gentle, but after a minute - poof! It's gone. It’s definitely very very nice though, don’t get me wrong, just hard to place and describe. But the vibes are so nice it’s just very cozy and warm, with a slightly deepness to it that gives it a sexiness. Ariana Grande has a moderate projection and poor sillage. It lasts long on the skin for more than four hours and its scent is better on the skin than in the air. This new fragrance captures the artist’s luminescent personality and the special relationship Ariana has with her fans. It was created to inspire confidence to be yourself and carries the strong message of being a positive light to those around you." It is presented in a beautiful lavender coloured box that opens with doors revealing the perfume and in my case, a mini travel sized Moonlight perfume which I thought was a nice touch. The perfume itself comes in a circular lavender bottle with pointed edges, and a cute purple puffy keychain attached.

When I bought this, I originally thought I would keep it because it reminded me of the same vibes I get from Bath & Bodywork's Moonlight Path. That fragrance is one I've enjoyed for about 15 years, ever since I was a teenager. Ari's Moonlight gave me the same essence, but was more wearable... or so I thought. In the end, I really enjoyed the combo of showering with Moonlight Path gel, putting on Moonlight Path lotion and finishing with Ari's Moonlight... what I realized is that this is a combo I would only ever wear for a night in the house (the closer to bedtime, the better). Safe blind buy fragrance. Very floral, fresh opening. Once it settles down it becomes sweeter, that’s when the plum marshmallowy notes become more detectable.This is the third Ariana Grande fragrance I've tried out (I absolutely love Cloud and Thank U Next) and unfortunately it's my least favorite. It's alright, to me it smells a little "older" than the other two. Maybe it's a little too powdery for my taste- i'm having trouble figuring out what exactly about it that i'm not loving. I'm glad I started with the smaller roller ball size because I definitely won't be buying a full size of this one. To me it smells like the Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom line. Not awful, but not great.
