Kids can identify many of the parts of an apple including the peel, stem, and calyx without cutting an apple open. Cutting Open the Apple Kids can take a small parts of the apple and place them on the worksheet. Then they can draw a sketch of the different parts. This apple crumble slice might just be the perfect Autumn (Fall) dessert. My version is made with a buttery biscuit base and no sour cream to keep things light and crumbly.
