Virkon Aquatic uniquely formulated highly virucidal disinfectant is safe to use with Koi and other more sensitive species like Orfe and Sturgeon. Step into the container with boots on and use a clean brush to clean boots with disinfectant solution.

PROCESSING PLANTS: Spray Virkon™ S at 1% solution to disinfect and clean walls, ceilings and floors. Saturate hard, non-porous surfaces for a period of 10 minutes. Allow surfaces to air dry. Use a dilution of 1:100 or 1.3 oz. Virkon™ S per gallon of clean water. Use a dilution of 1:50 or 2.6 oz. per gallon of clean water if surfaces that are to be treated have not been pre-cleaned with water to remove organic deposits. Not approved in California for use at 1:50 dilution on surfaces that have not been pre-cleaned with water to remove organic deposits. Virkon S for Aquaculture (now called Virkon Aquatic) which has been specifically produced for the UK aquaculture industry. It builds on the heritage of Antec Virkon S as the most proven veterinary disinfectant in the world, and has been shown, in published independent research, to have the world’s broadest range of efficacy against major fish pathogens, including ISA (Infectious Salmon Anaemia) virus and IPN (Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis) virus, even at low temperatures and high organic loads.

Precautions

Cold and Organic Challenge Resistant: Maintains high effectiveness in cold temperatures and in the presence of organic contaminants. VWR may at any time, without limiting any other rights and remedies that it may have, set off any amount owing to it by the customer under the contract against any amount payable by VWR to the customer (whether under the contract or a separate agreement). Delivery Authorisation to return products damaged during delivery must be requested within 3 days of delivery. VWR has the right to repair and return damaged products. Place boot into the foot dip and scrub using a soft hand brush making sure that the whole boot is washed thoroughly with disinfectant solution and paying particular attention to the sole. IF SWALLOWED: Call a Poison Control Center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

To control organisms that can be introduced into a building during the setting up procedure, and to disinfect inaccessible areas of the building and the air, use either a fine mist sprayer or thermal fogging machine to apply Virkon® S disinfectant solution evenly. Aerial Disinfection The customer shall cooperate with VWR in all matters relating to the services, provide all such access and information as is necessary and obtain any licences permissions and consents required before commencement of the services. Provide two hand brushes with every foot dip. One to remove organic matter prior to disinfection and one to use within the foot dip to wash the boot with. How to Use a Virkon S Disinfectant Foot Dip

Work areas: Sweep and remove all plant debris. Use power sprayer to wash all surfaces to remove loose dirt. Use a dilution of 1:100 or 1.3 oz. of Virkon™ S per gallon of clean water. Remove all litter droppings and manure from floors, walls and surfaces of barns, pens, stall, chutes and other facilities and fixtures occupied or traversed by poultry or other animals.

Using a stiff bristled hand brush, remove as much organic matter as possible from the boots remembering to pay particular attention to the sole. Not approved for this use in California): Virkon™ S intended to disinfect hard, non-porous environmental surfaces associated with aquaculture including vehicles, nets, boots, waders, dive suits, hoses, brushes and other similar equipment. If VWR’s performance of the services is prevented or delayed by any act or omission of the customer, VWR shall without limiting its other rights or remedies, have the right to suspend performance of the services until the customer remedies the position and VWR shall not be liable for any losses or costs arising from such delay. Effective against Hepatitis A, B, and C, HIV, MRSA, Influenza A Virus, E- coli (ESBL), Klebsiella pneumoniae (ESBL) and Coronavirus Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS)* CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Completely empty liner by shaking and tapping sides and bottom to loosen clinging particles. Empty residue into application equipment. Triple rinse container (or equivalent) promptly after emptying. Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank. Fill the container 1/4 full with water and recap. Shake for 10 seconds. Pour rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for later use or disposal. Drain for 10seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat this procedure two more times. Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or, if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke. VWR shall under no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the customer (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise), for any loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising in connection with the supply of products under this contract; and Authorisation for the return of products which fail to meet current published manufacturer’s specifications must be requested in writing within 28 days of delivery. VWR will assist customers, at customers’ expense, to obtain any manufacturer’s warranty consistent with that granted to VWR. Rely+On ® Virkon ® tablets are convenient to store and easy to use. Tablets are especially suitable for low volume applications applied by a spray bottle. Dissolve one tablet per 500 mls of water and the solution is ready for use.CONTROLS: Bacteria of; Actinobacillus Pleuropneumoniae and Clostridium perfringens; Foot and Mouth Disease virus, Fungi of Trichophyton interdigitale (2%). Caution: Persons must leave and animals/poultry and their feed must be removed from the premises prior to disinfection. To estimate the total surface area to be disinfected, including walls and ceilings, multiply the total floor area by 2.5. Surface Area Please note that the above instructions are for making 1 litre of Virkon disinfectant solution and is to be used as a guide. You can make 500mls of Virkon solution using only one 5gm tablet. Solution can be applied to surfaces using a spray bottle, sponge, mop etc. Any items that need disinfecting (not medical devices) can be submerged in Virkon solution and rinsed afterwards.
