Over time, J K Rowling has revealed more details about the Harry Pottercharacter wands and what they mean - including those of the Fantastic Beasts cast. Early on in the series, it's established that the wand chooses the wizard, and Harry finds this out firsthand in The Sorcerer's Stone when he goes to visit Ollivander's wand shop in Diagon Alley for the first time. In the wizarding world, wands are indispensable objects, used for everything from combat to household chores. Students learn how to wield these tools with finesse during their time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, though some show more outright skill than others, leading to a few explosive moments, courtesy of one Seamus Finnegan. This wand was possibly bought by Severus Snape at age eleven, probably from Ollivander's Wand Shop, before he started his first year of magical education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1971. During his years as Hogwarts student, he became an incredibly skilful and powerful wizard, managing to create several spells of his own invention, many of which were dark charms, such as the highly dangerous curse Sectumsempra. [3] [4] [5]Meanwhile, Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy came to Snape’s home at Spinner’s End. Narcissa told Snape under an unbreakable vow that her son, Draco, was chosen by Lord Voldemort for the difficult task of killing Dumbledore. Narcissa pleaded to Snape to help her son get the job done even if her son failed. Snape assured Narcissa of his loyalty to Lord Voldemort and agreed to help her son. After killing Dumbledore, Snape rejoined the ranks with Death Eaters to seek protection. Snape assured Lord Voldemort of his loyalty. He told the Death Eaters that Harry would leave his relatives-house four days before his birthday, a plan devised by Snape and Dumbledore.

Snape, therefore, hid the sword in a frozen pool near Harry’s camping spot and used his Patronus to guide Harry to the pool. He kept an eye on Harry until he got the sword and was in a safe place. Dismissal For example, it was Snape's wand that turned him into a Slytherin. And it was also Snape's wand that caused him to make that unbreakable vow with Lucius Malfoy. So while Professor Snape may not have been the most well-behaved wizard, there's no denying that his wand played a big role in his life.Lily and Snape got admitted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry together. They were students of the 1971-78 batch at Hogwarts, and they accompanied each other on the train to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. During his career as the Headmaster, Snape regularly consulted the portraits of previous headmasters to seek guidance. Snape was constantly in touch with Dumbledore’s portrait, which told him about the secret location of the Sword of Gryffindor. In 1997, significant changes were made to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry faculty. Severus Snape was named to be the new Headmaster. Snape was to be assisted by the Death Easters Alecto and Amycus Carrow, working in the capacity of Deputy Headmaster. Snape used his position to secretly protect students from Carrows. On 30 June 1997, Snape reluctantly killed Albus Dumbledore, casting the Killing Curse with this very wand, [8] in a previous arrangement to spare Dumbledore a terminal condition that would have brought a more painful death. [9] He also duelled Harry in his escape from Hogwarts, deflecting and anticipating all of his opponent's moves. [5]
