About this deal

Fruity and sweet and very raspberry. And yet there is also a minty freshness that distantly reminds me of Versaces Eros. There in combination with the apple, here with the raspberry. In terms of content, however, this works almost identically. In general, I see strong parallels to Eros in the whole style. As the fragrance progresses, it becomes more floral, but also more woody at the same time, before entering the vanilla-tonka base. The sweet fruity berry note lingers in a weakened form until the end. All in all, however, the course in practice seems much more linear than the list of ingredients would suggest. However, I did not care anyway, because Individual smells more interesting for me, it just moves more in me. Even if it is something more chemical / artificial, - or maybe just because of it? At first, Mont Blanc Individuel is a strong and unabashed fragrance. However, it soon dies down into the heart and leaves a relatively faint but noticeably sillage. However, it projects very well and should be applied sparingly. In this review, you will read our evaluation of Montblanc Individuel. Using our formula, we’ll analyse the fragrance’s bouquet of notes, quality and value for money as well as its seasonality and usage. Overview

I really wanted to test this fragrance, because various perfume lovers talked about this fragrance. And expensive he is also not.Released in 2003, Montblanc Individuel has been doing the rounds for some time now. It was developed by Pierre Bourdon, the nose of classics such as Davidoff Cool Water. I think he hit the nail on the head with this Montblanc Individuel lives up to its name, as I have - at least until now - never smelled a fragrance that goes in a similar direction. Individuel opens up with a spicy cinnamon note, with just a hint of lavender and fruit behind it. The fragrance then dives head first into a creamy raspberry smell for the remainder of the fragrance. It's a fairly linear smell to my nose. It's very clean, fruity, and inoffensive. I would think of Joop Homme now, which is also somewhat similar, but Joop Homme is much more striking for my taste. (Le Male Vibe) It smells much more like "broad masses", you immediately think "I know him yet.". And maybe a little youthful... I think it is a perfume suitable for everyday use for everyone who likes clean, fresh, but also delicious fragrances!

Anyone who follows the Fragrance YouTuber, especially Jeremy Fragrance, on YouTube will have noticed that Jeremy in particular thinks very highly of this chemotherapy. It is sold as a simple, round office scent. "Fresh, luxurious fabric softener with a raspberry touch" is the classic quote from the YouTuber. Moreover, Montblanc Individual is considered a perfume that resembles Creed Original Santal. If so, then Creed was inspired by Montblanc, because the fragrance was launched only two years after Montblanc Individuel ;-) The two do indeed have a certain similarity, but at Montblanc it smells fruitier. So the name is 100% accurate for me. The flacon shapely, clear, and yet practical, - you just like to take him in hand!In my opinion, the fragrance is accompanied throughout by an artificial nuance, which does not harm the overall work! Somewhat paradoxically, Individuel is both a conventional and unusual fragrance. Whilst the general structure follows that of a classic pyramidal accord, it’s included some unexpected notes on the way. And in sum smells Individuel somehow so typically masculine-Cologne artig, so it just feels very much like a confident, sexy signature fragrance. For instance, the raspberry note in the base was somewhat surprising and quite refreshing. Usually, fruity notes tend to be featured in the head or the heart rather than the base. Otherwise, Individuel is a linear trip of sequential notes. Wake & Strength Of Individuel I must admit that the only reason I bought this fragrance is because of the Montblanc brand. No. Of course, because it is supposed to resemble a Creed fragrance, and who wants to spend 200€ for a fragrance? I do, but not for (this) Creed.

One of the most polarising aspects of Individuel is found during testing with other people. There are two clear and distinctive camps with regards to this fragrance. The first consists of people who really like the fragrance. Furthermore, they find it comforting to wear and tend to liken it to fabric softener. Paradoxically, it’s a fragrance that features particular notes that go well with the nighttime. Therefore, if you’re someone that works the night shift, this would be perfect! Either way, you could likely use this fragrance to suit your environment. But wait, on one of my laps around the office, I felt the same dirty honeyed metallic note. Don't get me wrong, I would NOT go so far as to list Sartorial in the "Reminds me of..." section of Individuel, but in that brief moment, there was a small similarity.

Montblanc Individuel’s Composition

So I can assess the fragrance itself as positive throughout. But I find these obvious quality problems from batch to batch unspeakable. Smaller deviations are known. And so are reformulations. But I can't understand the fluctuations that are thrown at the market here. Can and should something like this be included in the overall evaluation? I think so. If I have to test three bottles to get "the right" scent, I don't understand anymore.

With a tableau of notes ranging from spicy to aromatic with a number of fruity notes on the way, Individuel is certainly a mixed bag. However, its overarching sandalwood accord, which we’ll talk about later, brings it into the woody family. It should be said that I prefer designer fragrances mostly Nichendüften, but I find Individuel just has the "certain something", I know some that resemble, but none that resembles. My beginner's nose recognizes at the beginning a beautiful interplay of bergamot, juniper berry and washing powder, whereby the latter is discreet and hardly disturbing. In this respect, it’s not a particularly seductive fragrance but something that’s comfortable and reassuring to wear. So it would be unlikely used for formal or special occasions. Hui... so with this list of notes, as long as the Old Testament, this is really a challenge to describe it! :D
