About this deal

The Cataphractii Pads has the iconic World Eaters logo that is simply unmistakable. World Eaters MkII Shoulder Pads: An earlier version of this article mistakenly announced that an episode of Hang Out & Paint would be broadcast on the Warhammer Twitch channel this Friday. In fact, the show will be going on hiatus until some point in June, when it’ll return to celebrate the launch of Warhammer 40,000 Leviathan in style. Watch this space for more info!

Long-time Warhammer fans will notice echoes of the original plastic Space Marine kit, the legendary RTB01 box. Released in 1987, that set was similarly full of posable Mark VI Corvus Armour. The Legionaries in the new kit are larger, more imposing, and less bow-legged, but they have that same versatility – and the same option to strap a great big chainblade to the barrel of their gun for an extra dose of marine-on-marine ultraviolence. They’re pretty convertible too – I mixed in shoulder pads, helmets, and sergeant weapons from my bitz box. This upgrade kit comprises 11 resin components and is designed to be assembled with the MKVI Tactical Squad set, which is sold separately. Blood Angels MKVI Heads: October 28th, 2022 The IX Legion can make even the workhorse MkIII Iron armour look like a work of art, as shown by the intricate insignia on these 10 resin shoulder pads. Blood Angels MkIV Torsos: You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and either the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book to make full use of these models.

Mark IV 'Maximus Armour' was designed to offer a fine balance of agility and durability, exploiting many of the advanced technologies recovered by the Great Crusade. Its comparatively lightweight design, armoured external cabling, and redesigned helm make it prized amongst the Legiones Astartes – in the Age of Darkness, the Mark IV is perhaps the most common pattern of power armour seen across the galaxy. The Age of Darkness box includes 40 Space Marines in Mark VI power armour – and they’ll soon be available separately in a box of 20, meaning these weapon upgrade sets are a perfect one-stop armoury. Kratos Heavy Assault Tank This multipart plastic kit builds 20 Space Marine Legionaries, which can be fielded in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy as a Legion Tactical Squad of 20 models, or two units of 10 models. Each of these Legionaries is armed with a Umbra-pattern bolter and bolt pistol, with a variety of additional components such as grenades and pouches, and can also be equipped with a bayonet or chain bayonet for melee fighting. You can also build up to two Legionaries with a Legion vexilla, two with a nuncio-vox, and two with an augury scanner. Accessories and alternate heads are included to build a Legion Tactical Sergeant for each of your squads – the kit offers a variety of extra weapon options for these unit leaders, including plasma pistols, power swords, power fists, and lightning claws. These models have no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint them in whichever colours they choose – however, the box includes a transfer sheet with 339 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. Ferry your Tactical Squads around the Age of Darkness in the classic Deimos Pattern Rhino. A Dedicated Transport choice for the Legiones Astartes, the Rhino gets your Space Marines from A to B with no fuss, no fare, and not a scratch on their ceramite. It can also be equipped with a variety of pintle guns – including some heavier weapons than you might be used to – and extra equipment. MKIII Tactical Squad The Raven Guard include winged motifs, Lycaean studs, and corvia – remains of the ravens the warrior interred within would have hunted as part of their initiation to the XIX Legion. Alpha Legion Contemptor TorsoSternguard Veteran Squad • Vanguard Veteran Squad • Terminator Squad ( Terminator Assault Squad) • Bladeguard Veteran • Veteran Intercessor Squad • Company Veterans

Chapter Master • Master of Sanctity • Chief Librarian • Master of the Apothecarion • Master of the Forge • Master ( Master of the Watch • Master of the Fleet • Master of the Arsenal • Master of the Marches • Master of the Rites • Master of Relics • Lord Executioner • Master of Recruits • Master of the Signal • Master of Reconnaissance) • Chapter Ancient ( Primaris Ancient) • Chapter Champion • Honour Guard The Legiones Astartes can now add squadrons of plastic Vindicator Siege Tanks to their armies – perfect timing for a supplement all about a planet-wide siege. Armed with your choice of wall-shattering demolisher cannon or a multi-barrelled magna laser destroyer, you can fine tune this squad tank to take out fortifications or warmachines.* Lord-castellan Evander Garrius See how that fabulous helmet plume puts other Legions in the shade! These eleven heads are ideal for creating Legion Veteran Squads, or making your Tactical Squads look even swankier. This kit also includes the components to equip Legionaries with up to two plasma guns, two melta guns, two flamers, two heavy bolters, and two missile launchers – note that these options are not valid for a Legion Tactical Squad as found in the Liber Astartes rulebooks, but can be used to create a Legion Veteran Squad, reinforce your Legion Tactical Support or Heavy Support Squads, or build Tactical Squads for games of Warhammer 40,000.You’ll also be able to get a set of moulded resin shoulder pads for the XIV Legion. These are the perfect way to finish your miniatures if you’re looking for an alternative to the Legion transfer sheet. Death Guard MKVI Heads: October 28th, 2022 There are two full Kill Teams in the box. The Chaos Cult weighs in at 23 previously available miniatures, including the Dark Commune and a glut of Chaos Cultists. These lesser devotees can mutate mid-battle, exploding in a mess of flesh and bone as they become vile Mutants and horrifying Torments. Dedicated Transports help get your units where you want them with relative safety, bringing more tactical options to the table but do cost you points as well. If you’re taking multiple of these transports you’ll have to weigh up if you’d rather not simply have more units on the table. This will depend on your own playstyle as well as other factors like your Legion choice, Rite of War, etc and there’s really not a wrong answer. On a basic level, Troops are key units in any Age of Darkness force. You need to take two in a normal list using the force organisation chart shown at the top, and often you’ll want to take at least two more as well for more specialised units and some redundancy. This valiant chariot is based on one of the earliest tank designs ever created by Games Workshop, albeit with a vastly improved kit brought bang up to date for the 3rd Millennium. It’s the perfect way to ferry your footslogging Legion Tactical Squads between objectives. Mk III Tactical Squad
