About this deal

If you believe that Metamorphosis is exempt from criticism because it's only porn and it's not that deep, I have news that you might not like to hear: nothing is exempt from criticism, especially not Why didn't the sister go to the others? She'd probably just gotten up out of bed and hadn't even started to get dressed yet. Then why was she crying? Because he wasn't getting up and wasn't letting the attorney in, because he was in danger of losing his position, and because then his boss would badger his parents once again with the old demands? At this point, those worries were completely unnecessary. Gregor was still here and wasn't thinking at all about deserting his family. At the moment, he was lying right there on the carpet, and no one who knew about his condition would've seriously requested that he let the attorney in. But because of this minor rudeness, for which he would easily find a suitable excuse later, Gregor could not be immediately dismissed. It seemed to Gregor that it might be far more reasonable to leave him in peace at the moment instead of disturbing him with crying and persuasion. But it was that very uncertainty that distressed the others and excused their behavior. The reactions she gets from the drugs she takes don't really make sense. It seems to be written by someone who didn't do much research on any of the drugs used throughout the series. They just seem to be working with cliches surrounding the drugs in question. Ok, I live for edgy/dark manga (and anything else really), so when I heard everyone making a big deal about this title, I had to read it.

Also, you don't really get to see the lowest parts that come with substance abuse. True, you get to see what she's willing to put her body through overtime & how other people ramp up their abuse towards her. But, you don't get to see her own personal mental breakdowns. There's not any exploration of the relationship she has with herself. If you're someone who is living that kind of lifestyle, those moments are a HUGE part of the cycle of addiction. The only thing close to that is what happens at the very end of the series. Another theme prominently featured in the series is the exploration of the darker aspects of human nature. The manga delves into the depths of cruelty, indifference, and dehumanization that can occur within society. The title challenges readers to reflect on their own actions and the impact they have on those around them. You could argue that 'hey this is hentai, what do you expect?' Maybe there needed to be the right balance of realism and fantasy. Idk, I'm not a writer lol. For me, it would have enhanced my experience with it. I'm not sure how other people may feel about that. It's clear this work has managed to leave a mark on people just the way it is, and that's the important thing. It's definitely original and I haven't seen many other hentai that have tried to be anything other than mindless smut. Which I don't mind, but it can get boring. From there, Saki becomes involved in drugs and prostitution, undergoing a dramatic transformation that gives the doujin its name. The story turns dark as the consequences of Saki’s choices catch up with her. I won’t go into more detail, so as to avoid spoilers. But suffice it to say, it’s a twisted and unsettling story. Our Take on 177013 Now let's forget this assumption for a bit, and analyze Metamorphosis simply as a story, or as a more content/emotionally charged hentai.

My expectations were set pretty high because of all the hype surrounding the series, which probably impacted my judgement in a negative way, as it did not completely live up to that hype. On June 5th, a thread about the hentai was submitted to the /h/ (Hentai) board on 4chan. [2] Several other threads were submitted to 4chan discussing the hentai over the next several months. [5] [6] On December 25th, 2016, FunnyJunk [3] user aznzeus posted an image macro featuring before-and-after illustrations of the character Saki (shown below). And speaking of it, there's also no depth to the depravity which Saki is subjected to. None! She is simply mistreated by everyone because... because? Everyone who ever crosses her path is iredeemably evil scum AND a rapist somehow. Including but not limited to her own parents, a group of high school kids and random homeless people. So no commentary about morality here I guess, just depravity. Whenever there's an attempt to have commentary made too it just doesn't land. What it has to say about purity culture is just a two liner that turns into disgusting sex, nullifying what it was just trying to say. I guess we don't get to see much of her life before her descent into substance abuse begins. From what is provided, she seems to have a pretty normal home life. Her dad gets creepy when she gets a makeover, true. But, before then it doesn't seem like she's been through anything particularly traumatic or unusual. In Metamorphosis (177013), the protagonist is Saki Yoshida – a shy girl who struggles to make friends in middle school. After graduating, she decides to undergo a makeover to improve her social life in high school.

In our opinion, Metamorphosis 177013 doesn’t receive the credit it deserves. Although it deviates from the typical plot of a doujin manga, that’s what makes it unique. Once readers can move past the depressing parts and focus on the message the story is trying to convey, they will appreciate it more.

Basically, all that Metamorphosis is is a disgusting fiasco that is touted as a masterpiece by people with no critical thinking skills. I've seen this manga being called many things. Hot, realistic, sad, deep, interesting, unique, well written. Well, it is none of these things. It's gross, it's unrealistic, it's shallow, it's uninteresting, it's the same old waltz you've danced before with porn.

Alternative Titles

For those who want more out of the story, there is another version: code 265918 reveals an alternate ending where Josuke (from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure) jumps in just in time to save the day. Statistics

Interestingly, despite being around for several years, no other doujin has been able to replicate the same impact that Metamorphosis has had. It’s also worth noting that 177013 is sometimes referred to as “Emergence”, although this name is not as commonly used. Despite its reputation, is Metamorphosis as horrifying as some claim? Metamorphosis (177013) is a powerful and captivating story that may be too dark for many readers to handle. Rather than wrapping up with the typical happy ending, it explores the reality of life—that hardship can be unavoidable, and we must all accept that fact and do our best to cope. And even if you are high, I really don't think losing your virginity like that would be pleasurable at all. The metamorphosis begins when she decides to change her appearance with the help of her mother, whom she asks to teach her how to apply makeup. The transformation takes effect, because, on the first day of school, Saki manages to make friends. On her way home, she meets a young man named Hayato, who convinces her to join him at karaoke. Taking advantage of Saki's naivety, Hayato drugs her and has sex with her.
