Now comes my test report on "Choco Violette" by Mancera, where you can expect a chocolate scent just because of the name. Chocolate! Hmmm... Every woman's dream. But also we guys like to eat chocolate. Only I can't enjoy much of this sweet dream at the moment, as I'm still being treated on my teeth, but one day... when I'm feeling better bite by bite, I'm going to nibble on all the perfumes! Launched in 2016, Coco Vanille is a sweet and creamy amber vanilla fragrance designed exclusively for the enjoyment of women. A subtle, elegant scent, this fragrance is perfect to be worn for a formal evening occasion. This scent will be my forever chocolate, vanilla mens go-to. I have never smelled a troo chocolate scent as this where all ingredients work in tandem. When I wear this fragrance women draw nigh. It's a crowd-pleaser. An office statement-maker. The depth this chocolate gives is beyond the fourth dimension. No lie. Anyway, the smell is quite nice and therefore worth a test. And with that I've come to the end of my comment and I'll end my comment with wishing you all a nice evening :)

Launched in 2016, Holidays Mancera is a versatile and optimistic fragrance designed for both men and women. Inspired by the beach and sea of a holiday setting, designer Pierre Montale crafted this serene and fresh scent. Base notes of vanilla pod, sandalwood, and white musk are smooth and woody, while top notes of coconut and bergamot are nutty and light.

Where to find us

A perfectly balanced fruity and floral scent for both men and women, Velvet Vanilla Mancera, was launched in 2016 after being created by perfumer Pierre Montale. Uncomplicated and smooth base notes of vanilla and white musk form the foundations for the middle floral notes of tuberose, jasmine, neroli, and rose. Base notes of amber, Guiac wood, vanilla pod, and white musk add depth and longevity to this soothing fragrance. 8. Sicily image source Red Tobacco by Mancera is a distinctive, spiced fragrance launched in 2017 and is suitable to be worn by both women and men. An intense fragrance ideal for an evening occasion, Red Tobacco has a heady, mystical mix of base notes, including Haitian vetiver, white musk, Guaiac wood, amber, Madagascar vanilla, tobacco, and sandalwood. By the way, you can already imagine that especially in the later base, after many many hours, the fragrance smells most like vanilla, maybe with a little bit of floral sweetness. The notorious and highly regarded Mancera perfume house was born in 2008 and began through a collaboration between Pierre Montale, a refined perfumer and traveler of the far east, and his daughter Amelie, a photographer and visual artist. The Mancera fragrance/ perfume brand is influenced by the purity and geometry of art deco design, which can be seen in the crystalline boxes which hold the perfumes.

Simple, sharp chords of vanilla and water notes spark in the water notes of Roses Vanille. This is an ideal daytime scent to be worn on a fresh Spring day. 4. Instant Crush image source Deep and seductive notes of Madagascar vanilla, white musk, and woody aromas come together at the base, moving gently up to a floral heart of jasmine, ylang-ylang, and Tiare flower. Bold, sweet white peach is softened by chords of coconut in the top notes. 13. Aoud Cafe image source Creamy base notes of sandalwood, white musk, oakmoss, and Madagascar vanilla give depth and longevity, while middle notes of amberwood, Egyptian jasmine, Indonesian patchouli leaf, and Morrocan Rose are sensual in complexity, reflecting the tapestry of locations where Mancera’s Pierre Montale explored on his travels. 5. Aoud Lemon Mint image source Anyway, this scent is also successful here and smells very tasty, even if it should weaken a little in the heart note. There are better chocolate scents, but this one is also worth a test, especially if you don't want the scent to smell 100% like chocolate. The question is, of course, when and why one could wear such a scent, as chocolate is a rather unusual scent. Maybe it is suitable for going out? Or maybe it's just for your own leisure time, if you don't want to eat a lot of chocolate and enjoy it more olfactorically (which I wouldn't recommend, because it really makes you hungry...!)Deep, mysterious base notes of musk, vetiver, leather, vanilla, and amber blend beautifully with seductive chords of patchouli, Egyptian jasmine, and agarwood at the heart of this scent. The top notes are fruity and aromatic in flavor, with zesty hits of pepper, coriander, mandarin orange, lemon, and almond. 6. Velvet Vanilla image source yeah yeah, a few... My carry-on was just full of candy. I had to take almost 5 kilos of chocolate with me, the remaining 3 kilos went for gingerbread and coffee... the customs officer already knew with a smile that I had sweets with me, because apparently all Turks do this... :DD I meant, of course, I'll be eating chocolate again with pleasure. I'd prefer to nibble on perfumes a little bit... but you idiots won't let me do that *sigh* At the heart of this scent is a hedonistic fusion of sea notes, rose, jasmine, violet, and patchouli leaf. 17. This scent is truly magnificent. I'm not feeling the pronounced violet, but everything else is amazing and timely. However, the hazelnut chocolate note seems to return to the base, which is nice if you like chocolaty scents. Of course the vanilla is now stronger, so the fragrance also appears more powdery and softer, but the scent is always delicious. Enshrouding the Mancera perfumes is a sense of mystery and myth, inspired by Pierre Montale’s travels into the often secluded lands of the Far East. This guide will explore not one but seventeen of the best and most popular Mancera perfumes in detail to help you to choose your favorite scent. Popular Mancera Perfumes: 1. Cedrat Boise Mancera image sourceThanks to the sample kits from Mancera, I now have rows and rows of fragrances from the French house to try them out. Choco Violette was a mystery to me before I bought it but this combination made me curious. Without looking at the pyramid of scents, after spraying it immediately becomes clear that this is not just about chocolate. The hazelnut is very dominant and immediately gives the impression of a bar of milk chocolate with hazelnuts, which I actually like best! For me it is really milk chocolate in the beginning and not dark chocolate. Chocolate and hazelnut are present for quite a long time, in between there is not much room for other fragrances. I can also perceive nougat for a while. To be honest, I don't smell bergamot and orange in the top note, or only with a little imagination.
