About this deal

Over time, a Throne Mechanicum will accrete generations of mental imprints from the pilots who bonded with them. At the same time, the Knights exert an influence over the society of their worlds. Between the psychic impression of the Throne Mechanicum, and their inevitable role as defenders and commanders, the Households of Knights have risen to positions of hereditary, feudal control over their worlds. Sir Hekhtur Cerberan was amongst those taken captive. The house's only surviving precept, the gruff old Noble did his best to inspire and bolster his comrades. Yet the horrors that the Iron Warriors inflicted were beyond imagining, and gradually they wore down the surviving Knights. As each warrior's spirit broke, so their Knight suits too were corrupted and transformed into heretical engines of destruction. Yet still Sir Hekhtur held out, chained within a dark oubliette, praying to the Emperor for deliverance. It is odd that our boys in blue are not even included? The Smurf poster-boys have been front-and-centre of pretty much every GW released since the Space Marine was invented!

Should a Knight player fulfil the Deed required of their Oath, they will immediately gain three command points, and their army will become Honoured. That in turn can trigger other abilities. Imperial Knights Bondsman abilities Just after an Imperial Knight that is eligible tofight and hasn’t fought yet is destroyed; that unit fights as though it has one wound. Then it’s destroyed (roll for Deadly Demise). Sir Hekhtur can’t use this Stratagem. There’s obviously different build options for some units, and you’ll want to add upgrades and gear that will increase the points values, but for the sake of the value breakdown we’re just using the box contents as advertised by Games Workshop. The blessed warriors of the Sisters of Battle featured on last year’s Battleforce line-up, and GW’s Monday preview shows they return in 2022 with the Adepta Sororitas Sanctorum Guard Battleforce. The box contains 22 models total, including: Here’s the updated pricing and value breakdown for the 2022 Warhammer 40k Christmas Battleforces values with the new GW price increases included.Reflecting the Preceptor’s role as a mentor to novice Knights, the the Preceptor’s Bondsman ability increases the OC value of it and its Bondsman by one, and their Leadership by one. The ‘Exemplar of the Code’ lets the Preceptor choose an enemy unit to make a lesson out of at the start of the game, granting them re-rolls to Hit against that target. Perhaps sensing its master’s unyielding resolve, perhaps urged to motion by the Emperor’s will, Canis Rex somehow broke from the bonds of the hereteksattempting to subvert it, and smashed a path to its master. Together with other Imperial survivors, they escaped, forming the core of the Randoryn resistance.

The40k Battleforce: Imperial Knights: Chainbreaker Lance set is built around a massive Knight Questoris kit, which can build Canis Rex or any of the Questoris-class Knights – including Paladin, Crusader, Warden, Errant, Gallant, and Preceptor. Armigers count as eight models and larger knights as 10 when determining control of an objective, though these values drop off when your Knights are heavily damaged. Sir Hector is a Legendary Freeblade; once per turn you can target him with a Stratagem for 0CP, even if another unit has been targeted by that Stratagem this phase. As a new HQ this great to finally see a separate release. One support piece can add many different play options to a list! The Adeptus Custodes are the most magnificent of the Emperor’s warriors, sworn to protect the Throneworld from rebels, invaders, and anyone looking to open their presents early. This Battleforce puts the peerless Captain-General Trajann Valoris at the head of a powerful cadre comprising three Vertus Praetors on Dawneagle Jetbikes (which can also build a Shield Captain) and three indomitable Allarus Custodians (which can also build a Shield-Captain and a Vexilus Praetor). The bulk of this unbreakable force is made up of 15 Custodian Guard , which also have options to build Shield Captains and Vexilus Praetors. Adeptus Mechanicus – Elimination Maniple Both Dominus have a pair of twin-meltaguns for short-range defense against other Knights or similarly large close-range combatants. Their carapace mounts a combination of single-shot, invulnerable-save-ignoring shieldbreaker missiles, and twin-siegebreaker cannons, tiny weapons on the Dominus but large enough to be the main gun on most APCs or light tanks. It would be great to see boxes like this readily available for each faction. Like a Start Collecting / Combat patrol “plus” box. and it would be great if they give each set a points balance across the board!

This would closely mirror last year’s Battleforce release date, which was December 4th 2021. Warhammer 40,000 2022 Battleforce Boxes – Price & Savings Once again, No Ultramarines? Well, that’s kinda smart because technically both this box and the box above can be used by any Space Marine Faction. Though the individual characters and the Chapter Specific Upgrades spure here, slightly deter anyone looking to simply bolster another Space Marine force on a budget. In ninth edition, Imperial Knights could be elevated to a position in the Exalted Court, granting them additional abilities to reflect their rank in the noble household. That’s no longer part of the core faction rules for Knights in 10th edition, but it was so cool and flavorful we’ll be surprised if it doesn’t return in some form as a Detachment. Questor Imperialis and Questor Mechanicus However, the battleforces didn’t stop there, as they also released new Space Marine boxes and even an Arks of Omen battleforce box. This is also interesting as Games Workshop generally doesn’t send things to trade accounts as MTO, so we’ll have to see if hobbyists are still interested in them by the time they return to local stores in 2o23. After a final, courageous stand before the gates of the Stygian Keep, House Cerberan was defeated. The last of its

Canis Rex is a unique Knight Preceptor piloted by Sir Hekthur Cerberan, a Freeblade known as "the Chainbreaker," who was once a scion of House Cerberan, which ruled the Knight World of Randoryn Alpha. After his homeworld and house fell to conquest by the Heretic Astartes of the Iron Warriors Traitor Legion, Cerberan prayed to the Emperor for a miracle while the Chaos Space Marines tortured him. When the bearer claims an objective at the end of your Command Phase, it remains under your control until your opponent claims it, even if you have no models contesting it. Dubbed ‘Chainbreaker’ for freeing countless slaves from the Iron Warriors – rather than his hatred of Christmas decorations – the Imperial Knight Sir Hekhtur leads a devastating lance of noble war machines across the galaxy. The Chainbreaker Lance is led by the Knight Preceptor Canis Rex (which can also be built as any other Questoris-class Knight, and which comes with a pilot), mentoring swift scout-Knights known as Armigers. The Battleforce includes two ranged Helverins and two close-range Warglaives , piloted by lower-ranking Nobles. Death Guard – Council of The Death Lord

Chainbreaker Lance Battleforce is Coming Back Soon!

Rules for these magnificent war engines in ninth edition appeared in the Imperial Armour Compendium, and are likely to show up in a similar Index for 10th edition. The Moirax is a variant Armiger, and the Styrix and Magaera are variants on the Questor chassis. More imposing (and more expensive), the Lancer, Acheron, Castigator and Atropos are all Knights of the long-limbed Cerastus class, faster and sturdier than their Questor counterparts.
