Though both the arcade and PlayStation versions were developed internally at Namco, none of the arcade development team had any direct involvement with the PlayStation version. The Time crisis arcade machine had its own gun and used a foot pedal to controll taking cover. The gun in the arcade had came in Blue and Red and had a recoil built in. It felt great. You can play all of the main series games with the exception of Time Crisis 5 (which is not yet available outside the Arcade) with a light gun using various emulators on the PC and other platforms. If you want to play it now, you can obviously, get a PS1, a Gcon45 and an old CRT tv and you will be up and running in a couple of minutes.
