The Journey came to Irene’s life 8 years ago, after the birth of her second child. She first experienced The Journey in 1996 and was deeply touched by the way the work transformed peoples’ lives in such a positive way. Gaby first joined the organization as a volunteer, and in 2000 was asked by Brandon Bays and Kevin Billett (Journey co-founder, CEO, and Brandon’s husband) to become a joint guardian and Director for the Journey.

Alongside her work with The Journey, Yollana is a published author and podcast host. She works with individuals as well as groups and leads The Journey in Finland. Her first book in Finnish Omassa voimassa (Basam Books 2019) came out in the fall of 2019.
