Made of the same smooth and tightly woven nylon as the larger Slide variations, but of a thinner construction, the Leash is also adorned with stylish aluminium and Hypalon adjusters. The big disadvantage of that old sling was that it was attached to the camera using the tripod mount. Swapping between the strap and the tripod was a faff. Furthermore, I often shoot very low-level photos, and the strap could reach not do that when wearing the sling without disconnecting the clip attaching it to the camera, and the additional safety tether. It was all a hassle that took away from the spontaneity of the moment. Consequently, I was eager to try the Peak Design Leash. The updated Leash gains a second length adjuster. The hardware for the adjuster is now made of aluminum instead of plastic, and the adjuster has a leather strip for easy access. You then open the drawer below the strap to reveal all the accessories, extras, and tools. Non volendo io diventare un cammello, per il collo iperflesso a causa della cinghia standard, né volendo portare la mia costosa macchina fotografica in spalla a mò di borsa, ho deciso di rivolgermi a Peak Design. La motivazione che mi ha spinto ad acquistare questo Leash e non le altre cinghie più spesse e larghe è prettamente stilistica, ma non escludo in futuro di procurarmi anche un esemplare in più.
