Description

For video fans, you can record at up to 4K, but only ever at 30fps - there didn’t seem to be a way to increase the framerate of shooting, even at lower resolutions. Slow-mo goes up to 1080p. LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 34(2000), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), 41(2500) Awesome value and a great all rounder I love the look of this phone. It's thin, lightweight, sleek and feels good in the hand. I've used many phones in my life and this is up there with how it feels to hold. The buttons feel solid and well positioned and the phone overall definitely gives the impression of being more expensive than it actually is.

The speed is not the fastest I have used but it isn't a slouch and it more than handled most games and apps that I threw at it. The OPPO A94 in question is a 4G smartphone, however, the 5G version of the OPPO A94 was released a little later in the year on the 3rd of May. The two smartphones are pretty much identical with the same display size of 6.43 inches, but they come in different color options and there are some slight tweaks in terms of specs as well. Phase detection, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, Video (4K@30fps, 1080p@30/120fps; gyro-EIS)When comparing this phone to others you need to take into account its very reasonable price point and where it is positioned in the market. I think this phone is fantastic value and gives you a high level of performance and features at a fraction of the price of more expensive competitors. I have no hesitation in recommending this phone to others. The A94 comes with a respectable 8GB of RAM, 2GBs more than the Samsung A52, and it’s great. Camera It's Mediatek Helio P95 is a reliable processor and can handle day-to-day tasks efficiently. It has a reliable camera setup and a good enough battery life for average usage. If you're looking for a mid-range smartphone, the Oppo A94 is worth considering.

The Oppo A94 5G has four rear cameras, and it’s the same array as the A54 and A74. Finally, a section in which we don’t need to keep comparing it to its family! If we’d found just one or even two of those issues, we could potentially shrug our shoulders and ignore it, but the combination of all three sometimes became very irritating. Battery lifeThe A94 5G comes with a 4310mAh battery. It’s enough to get you through a full day of heavy usage and two days of light use. It’s standard for a mid-range phone. The Oppo phone often dropped connection for small periods of time when we were using it, whether with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or mobile data connectivity. The first of those manifested in connected headphones sometimes disconnecting and reconnecting after a few seconds; Wi-Fi was sometimes a problem playing online games where we’d now and then repeatedly freeze, or be seconds out of sync for other players; twice in our time with the phone data dropped out completely, though restarting the device fixed the error.

The size of the device is 6.43 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. It features triple-camera that consists of 48 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth). On the front, there is a single camera that consists of 32 MP (wide). In addition, there are LED flash, HDR, and panorama. The OPPO A94 has the Li-Po 4,310 mAh battery installed in the device and the battery is non-removable. For a normal day-to-day active usage, the smartphone could last up to 4 to 6 hours of battery life. The smartphone is enabled with GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS, USB Type-C, USB On-The-Go, and Bluetooth 5.1. The dimension of the device is 160.1 x 73.2 x 7.8 mm and it weighs 172 grams. Quad Main Camera: 48 MP, f/1.7, 26mm (wide), 8 MP, f/2.2, 16mm, 119˚ (ultrawide), 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro), 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth)We didn’t list battery life in the ‘cons’ column because some people, light phone users who just want to stream music, scroll through social media and reply to texts, will find the battery just fine. If, like us, you’re prone to frequent gaming sessions, need to use your handset to navigate around a city with lots of mapping, or like to take plenty of pictures, you might find yourself reaching for the charger in the early evening. When we put the handset through the Geekbench 5 benchmark test, it returned a multi-core score of 1641 - the A54 got 1664, and the A74 got 1629, so they’re roughly on par performance-wise. For context, the OnePlus Nord got 1877, the Moto G100 got 2875 and the Realme GT hit 3508 - all these phones are roughly similar in cost, though they do cost a little bit more than the A94 5G. The OPPO A94 uses the Mediatek MT6779V Helio P95 chipset with an Octa-core CPU and PowerVR GM9446 GPU. It is a mid-range phone so the processor that it comes with is good enough for average use. Does OPPO A94 have a fingerprint sensor? The price is the real selling point of the Oppo A94 5G though - despite costing more than its siblings, it’s still great value if you’re looking for next-gen connectivity. The ‘brains of the operation’, so to speak, is the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, which is comparable to the Snapdragon 480 used in the other two AX4 phones. It’s paired with 8GB of RAM, which is a lot for a phone at this price, making the Oppo A94 5G feel fairly fast compared to some rivals.
