Description

The human body has many different sensory receptors, both inside and outside the body. Take a look below for the main five sensory receptors and their respective organs.

If the team is successful in coming up with 5 answers within the Name 5 category, the team rolls again and takes another turn. Your child will love testing their general knowledge with this fun naming game. Print the game board then grab a dice. Your child can play alone or friends and family can join in. Take it in turns to roll the dice and move around the board. On each turn, the player will need to name five things. Can they do this with a time limit? Other Ideas and Games Repetition of each familiar object, person or place is the perfect way for children to retain the information given to them with emergent learning. Why not use these cards along with the real objects? Have five different types of fruit on the table and get them to list off as many as they can in English! The ' Do you like'? Food Speaking Activity with Teacher Notes is great for further exposure to objects that they will encounter on a daily basis. You could use these cards as an activity for children to explore their senses and it’s a great activity to start the day with. More resources like this The best game titles are all about one thing – simplicity. The more you make it complex, the harder it will be to remember and talk about it. Your title should be simple and catchy so that people can easily remember it and mention it to their friends. Just think about some of the most popular games in the world like Minecraft, Fortnite, Roblox, Candy Land, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing and so on. How To Come Up With Game Name IdeasIf your team lands on a Flip Flop space, turn over a card and read the Name 5 Challenge that matches the color on the space. If unsuccessful, it is the other team's turn, and on your next turn, your team can choose another card and try again. In addition to the plain colored spaces on the board, there are four other special spaces which have different rules. The team going first rolls the die and moves their team's token the number of spaces rolled on the die.

The first team to complete their Name 5 Challenge rolls the die and takes the next turn. If neither team completes the Name 5 Challenge, both teams draw another card and race to Name 5 again.Teams take it in turns to roll the dice and move that many spaces. A player from an opposing team then takes the top card from their pile and reads out the category which corresponds to the colored space the active team’s pawn just landed on. Once the category has been read out, the sand timer is turned and the active team has 30 seconds to name five things which fall into that category. If they succeed the team takes another turn (up to a maximum of three), but if they fail, play passes to the next team. This space is almost like any other, except that when a team stops at a Wild space they can read all the categories and decide which Name 5 challenge they want to take. Wild: If your team lands on a Wild space, an opposing team or player reads out all five categories on the card and then they choose which category your team answers. If your team correctly names five items for that challenge, you get to play again even if this was your third turn in a row. You can use these Memory Exercises as another activity that will enhance their memory and improve their concentration.
