Unfortunately, I didn’t. My skin just didn’t agree with this formulation. It didn’t really see any improvement after using it for about two weeks. Instead, I feel like I broke out even more. I’ll probably be repurposing it for my body henceforth. Conclusion Now that we’ve defined AHA and BHA, we know that choosing which one to use depends on your skin type and your skin goals. But how about layering them? Can you use them together and if so, what’s the best way to use both in your routine? HOW OFTEN CAN I USE BHA SERUM?You can use BHA Serum daily in the PM, however if you have dry or sensitive skin we’d recommend to use 1-3 times per week, in the PM. IS IT OKAY TO BE USED DAILY, AM AND PM?Yes! it is perfectly fine for daily use AM and PM or at a frequency you prefer. Hyaluronic AcidSerum if you are using it. You can use BHA Serum in your AM & PM skincare routine, however if used in the AM, ensure you use a broad spectrum SPF.

Salicylic Acid Cleanser is a gentle, yet effective cleanser that stays on your skin for a short amount of time and then gets completely washed off with water. Therefore, there should have little to no risk of irritation if you are to use Retinol Serum in your evening skincare routine. However we always recommend patch testing! Learn more about how to patch test. I never use chemical exfoliants during the day. So I use it in one of my PM routines. I use it after cleansing with Micellar Water and don’t layer it with any other actives. Sometimes when I wake up with a huge pimple, I use it as a spot treatment with the hopes that it would go away even faster. PHA toner can be used every day, however we advise to build up usage gradually from 1-2 days to 3-4 days etc.Gentle enough for daily use, the non-drying, exfoliating gel cleanser helps to unclog pores and remove dirt, impurities, and excess oil leaving skin feeling deeply clean and clarified. While it’s undeniably a beloved active ingredient with clear results, it is possible to use too much salicylic acid, particularly if you have sensitive skin. Reactive complexions or those who are particularly dry can respond badly to the ingredient if introduced wrongly, with dryness, redness, flakiness, or overall irritation.
