About this deal

To fight rust and corrosion, the steel rails have all been given a galvanised coating, something that is very much needed considering how much time it’ll spend outside in the British weather. In addition to the coating, Top Tower have ensured the longevity of their tower scaffold with some top-notch welding, and are so confident in it, they have given a lifetime guarantee. Stability equals safety and is not something to take for granted. Also, not to be taken at face value, is that these products come safe to use. In fact, with some DIY tower scaffolds, a lot of the most invaluable safety components are sold separately such as stabilisers, and even full safety kits. I would always recommend that you tie in to the building that you’re working on anyway, just to be sure, especially if you’re going to be working on a 6-7-metre-tall rig, as they can still wobble at the top, even with stabilisers in place. Material Supplied with soft ground anchoring spikes – again our own design (UK Patent applied for – no. 2532236) – ensures maximum grip, and therefore safety, when using on grass etc. In general, aluminium and steel have historically been the materials of choice for scaffold towers, fibre glass has also become an option for Zone 1 requirements, but an aluminium scaffold tower has generally been accepted to be the lightest, most practical and durable form of scaffolding tower in recent years. Towers made from either of these metals are sound and reliable. For work around electrical sources, however, glass fibre towers should be used, since they will not conduct an electric current the way steel and aluminium do. If cost is a consideration, then steel is the better choice, since it's less expensive than aluminium. When buying scaffold towers, though, it's important to consider the application carefully. Regardless of what material you choose, be sure that it conforms with the BS EN1004 standard. If the tower comes from another country, be sure it carries a comparable rating. If the tower comes from Germany, for example, it should have a TUV mark.

Tower uprights have a "ribbed " non-slip profile for extra safety when climbing or erecting/dismantling the tower This is the maximum amount of weight that the structure can hold safely. Most of these products can handle at least 150kg, which sounds a lot, but if you’re going to be loading up the platform with paint cans, power tools, etc. that max load can soon be reached. So, be careful and do a bit of mental arithmetic before getting up there on that platform. Stability Manufactured to our own UK patented design (No. 2476305) – you simply will not find this tower elsewhere! Fully Colour coded braces supplied making this tower fast and easy to erect - an important convenience and safety feature not found on other towersAll the components were of a high quality, and there were no issues with anything being misaligned, rusted, etc. Although, I have to say that some of the edges were pretty sharp, so I’d advise grabbing a sander and going over them before building the scaffold for the first time. Assembly is pretty straightforward, even though the instructions could be a lot better. Still, with the help of mate, it didn’t take me long to get it set up. For large scale home DIY jobs like decorating, pruning your trees and washing your windows, a ladder may not always be the best choice. A DIY scaffold tower will offer you more freedom of movement to carry out a task which is especially important if you need to be at height for a longer period of time. Despite its lightweight nature, the Home Master tower scaffold can handle up to 150kg, due in no small part to the high-quality welds found throughout, and the wide base stabiliser bars. Our scaffold towers feature two wheels to facilitate moving. The bracing is fully colour coded, which facilitates erection and ensures that the tower is correctly assembled and braced. We also furnish stabiliser bars with a footprint that's larger than our competitors'. We're pleased to offer our popular aluminium tower with ultra strong 40mm diameter tubing that delivers exceptional strength. Assembly is quite simple and straightforward. The tower comes in 4 sizes and can be used indoors as well as outdoors. It has a maximum safe working load of 150kg. The platform is adjustable in 300mm increments. End height adjustment is included. This means the tower can be deployed on stairs. Finally, the tower comes from an ISO 9001:2008 manufacturer. The ISO 9000 set of standards represent international agreement on a set of quality standards. The result? Better products and better accountability. This tower offers great value for the price.

Inclusive free next day delivery on top of an unbeatable price – beware of “hidden” delivery charges or slow 2,3,4 or even 5 day delivery times! Storage and transport of your tower is super easy due to its compact design and aluminium (therefore lightweight) components A lot of modern DIY scaffolds are made from high grade aluminium, and this material has its benefits. It is very lightweight, which makes assembly much less hard work, and it has fantastic anti-corrosion properties, so you know the product will withstand the elements well.Everything you need to set up a solid scaffold is supplied, including horizontal and diagonal braces, stabiliser bars, and marine plywood footboards with a non-slip surface. The finished structure is able to handle loads of 150kg too, so you won’t have to skip your extra-large bacon sandwich for lunch. There are some people who are more than happy to balance precariously on the top of a telescopic ladder, with a brush in one hand, and a can of paint in the other.
