About this deal

A slightly abridged version of the original that works well as an introduction to the classic fairytale. Sunny, pastel illustrations lead the reader along the gingerbread man's escape route. He ultimately falls prey to sly fox, who gobbles him up with satisfying delight. This small Gingerbread Man book is a nice supplement to a child's bookshelf. Book Boxes are another fun way to get kids excited about reading. What kid doesn’t love to get a special delivery in the mail?! The crew over at Bookroo finds the best little known books that you won’t already have in your library, and they send them to you each month. Take a peak inside a Bookroo Box here. The Gingerbread Man appears as a popular supporting character in the Shrek films, where he is voiced by Conrad Vernon (see List of Shrek (franchise) characters). Children will love reading about Tortilla’s exploits through the desert in this hilarious spin off of the classic tale The Gingerbread Man! After a while, the oven door opened suddenly, and the Gingerbread Man leapt out! The boy was amazed. The Gingerbread Man ran towards the door and raced down the garden.

Eight pre-baked gingerbread men are all ready to be decorated. This kit has all the frosting, sprinkles, and candy you need for a fun afternoon of cookie decorating with your children. In Gingerbread Friends, Gingerbread Baby lives in a gingerbread house in the bedroom of a little boy named Mattie. Although he is happy with the toys and treats Mattie gave him, he still feels like something is missing. One day, when Mattie goes out to play with his friend, the Gingerbread Baby realizes that he needs a friend of his own. The next day, he slips out and goes into the village to find a friend. He tries to talk to a gingerbread man and woman, a sugar cookie girl, seven white swans, and a dancing man and woman atop a cake, but they are all still as stone. He is about to give up when he spots a door just his size. Inside, a mouse begins nibbling at him, so he runs out of the bakery with the mouse, the cat, the baker and his wife close behind! I know many of you are not allowed to celebrate holidays in the classroom so I created this list of my favorite Gingerbread man books that are not Christmas related. This illustrated version of the classic children's story "The Gingerbread Man" is great for a variety of uses. This literary text is perfect for helping children learn to read or teaching English as an additional language (EAL) and, when printed out, our illustrated prompts can also be used to decorate a library or reading corner. The Gingerbread Man Story is a classic children's story about a runaway gingerbread man fleeing from the woman who baked him. The story is best known for the gingerbread man's catchphrase "Run, run, as fast you can! You can't catch me I'm the gingerbread man!"

We’re a little gingerbread crazy here. Every year we like to make gingerbread playdough in December. I also love that there are so many Gingerbread Man stories out there – with a variety of characters and endings. They are so much fun to compare and contrast with each other! This Gingerbread Man with generous spirit is busy at school making a gift for a very special friend. When some winter weather rolls in, the snow and slush are no match for a very determined cookie! A jolly fun book to read at Christmas with a valuable lesson about the importance of giving gifts from the heart. Since that one was such a hit, The Gingerbread Man Loose at Christmas is obviously a favorite too! I love the message of showing appreciation for the people in the community and spreading holiday cheer. Adorable!
