About this deal

Overcurrent Protection: The battery will immediately stop charging if an excess current is detected. It takes approximately 56 minutes to charge an Intelligent Flight Battery with DJI 30W USB-C Charger and the Battery Charging Hub (and approximately 1 hour and 18 minutes to fully charge an Intelligent Flight Battery Plus).

Temperature Detection: The battery will only charge when it is between 41° and 104° F (5° and 40°) to prevent damage. If the battery reaches 131° F (55° C), the charging process will end automatically. Do not fly the aircraft near areas with magnetic or radio interference, including Wi-Fi hotspots, routers, Bluetooth devices, high-voltage lines, large-scale power transmission stations, radar stations, mobile base stations, and broadcasting towers. Otherwise, the wireless transmission performance of the aircraft may be affected by interference, and the aircraft cannot fly normally. The DJI Mini 3 Pro two-way charging hub is compatible only with standard and Plus batteries. Do not try to charge other batteries with it. You wouldn't know it from a glance at the baseline specs, but the Mini 3's camera is a notable upgrade from the one in the Mini 2. It has the same 24mm angle of view, but gathers more than twice as much light with its fixed f/1.7 aperture for better video at twilight and magic hour.Over-Discharge Protection: When the battery is not in use, the discharge automatically pauses to prevent excessive discharge. Flying in severely cold weather, 14° F to 41° F (-10° to 5° C), drastically reduces battery capacity. Before starting your drone’s operation, hover still for a bit to heat the batteries and prepare it for whatever task you have in mind. Update the aircraft and remote controller firmware separately using DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series).

DJI Mini 3 Series 360° Propeller Guard: Specially designed with light texture, the propeller guard protects the propellers from collisions, and improves flight safety. It is especially applicable in indoor scenes with many obstacles, bringing more safety guarantees for beginners. Connectthe DJI 30W portable charger to a power outlet or connect the USB Type C cord to a power bank. Verify that the input voltage ranges from 100 to 240 V. Short Circuit Protection: If a short circuit is detected, the power supply is immediately turned off. This is the first drone in the Mini series to feature obstacle-sensing cameras, and these cover all directions apart from upwards. If the drone is travelling toward an object, it’ll detect it and stop the movement, which significantly lessens the chances of a crash. I found they worked perfectly well, although I confess I wasn’t actively trying to crash my review sample at any point. The Mini 3 doesn't include any onboard storage for photos (the Mini 3 Pro has a small 1.2GB available in comparison), so you need to add a microSD card to save photos and videos. The card slot, positioned at the rear of the aircraft, is easy to get to and supports high-capacity microSDXC. A 64GB card holds around 90 minutes of 4K footage, so you may want to get a 128GB card if you're buying extra batteries. There are three flight modes available: N (normal), C (cinema, which reduces flight speed to ensure smoother video pans and moves), and S (sport, which increases speeds to maximum and removes all obstacle sensing). The drone flies swiftly (up to 16m/s in S mode) and stably, with a prompt response to the user’s control inputs.

The remote controller will be charged if it is connected to the two-way charging hub after the batteries have finished charging. Power on the aircraft and remote controller, and make sure that the remote controller is linked to the aircraft. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware and note that Internet is required. Any drone that’s heavier than 250g will encounter more restrictions in terms of where it can fly, which immediately makes the Mini 3 Pro and its lightweight ilk appealing to regular users (who probably don’t have access to wide swathes of private land).Always remember that charging LiPo batteries can be dangerous. Nothing should happen, but it is recommended that you always keep an eye on them when they are charging. Make sure that the remote controller and aircraft batteries are fully charged. (It is recommended to fully charge the battery and then fly the drone.) To safeguard the camera lens and aircraft arm, you'd better attach the gimbal protector to your drone during daily storage or carrying outdoors.

The DJI Mini 3 camera can be rotated 90° for lossless shooting in Portrait mode, allowing for more freedom in composition. Tap the vertical shooting icon on the app interface to enter Portrait mode. Having spent a few weeks in its company, I’m hugely impressed by what I’ve seen – so read on to find out the reason s the Mini 3 Pro might be the perfect drone for you. Why buy from an official DJI seller?

DJI Mini 3 does not have internal storage. It is recommended that you install a memory card to save the raw materials taken by the camera.
