The last quarter: Ohmygosh THAT is what I wanted. I love the ending so much. It has emotional scenes, as well as sweet, heart-warming scenes. I’m glad to see the characters finally learn from their mistakes and make peace with the state of their life and actually appreciate what they have. They have gone through so much shit throughout this whole book, and I am relieved that they can find happiness among all of the chaos. Their priorities and values are in the right place.

Don’t miss out on this captivating tale of passion, danger, and forbidden love. Dive into “Damaged Like Us” and embark on an unforgettable journey with Maximoff and Farrow as they navigate the perils of their intense connection in a world where rules are meant to be broken. Couldn’t the same be said the other way around?” I ask him. “Anyone I’m dating could say they don’t want to be tied to a family of alcoholics and sex addicts.“Then they don’t have to be around us,”You’re cordially invited to the wedding of Maximoff Hale & Farrow Keene, and according to Celebrity Crush—the ceremony for this American prince and his tattooed bodyguard is going to be the event of the century. TiffanyW: Y’all I can’t with Sullivan’s boyfriends. They just sandwiched her in PUBLIC to avoid cameras lmao The only thing standing in the way from more stars is the main couple. Moffy is absolutely precious, but three books later and Farrow is still very meh. His "IDGAF about anything" and "the rule don't apply to me" attitude just isn't for me. Anyway, Farrow and Moffy are at odds since the beginning. For one, they’re both super alpha. For two, they’re both trying to hide their attraction to each other. I loved the angst and the anticipation and all the sexual tension! The banter between them was also priceless!

Of course I would look hot on TV. Doesn’t matter. I don’t need the same problems that my little bro has with fame.” Oscar swigs his beer. “And give yourself more credit, Highland.” Don't get me wrong, some of it is not bad...it adds to the drama but (for me) there just needs to be more happy times. And that's a bummer because I genuinely enjoy this series and ALL the characters...they just can't catch a break. But for the first time in this confident filmmaker's life, he's absolutely 100%... confused. Add another ultra-complication in a sea of complicated: Enter Charlie Cobalt. then donnelly started to reread luna’s smut from her fan fiction about aliens. and u know what? he started jerking off. and he'd said he does it ✨ocasionally✨. fyi he’s almost thirty years old. I listened to the audio book of Alphas Like Us and it was enjoyable to listen to. The emotional scenes were especially powerful. Alexander Cendese and JF Harding did a wonderful job voicing these two characters. Kinney. I LOVE KINNEY. She is so badass and confident (but also vulnerable). Love her. She’s hilarious.

Reading another book with my favorite fictional family in it feels like coming home. Loren and Lily Hale are probably my #1 favorite book couple ever. Damaged Like Us is their son, Maximoff Hale’s, book. This can be read as a stand-alone, but I think for those of us that are huge Addicted fans, it will be even more special! Chapter 20: Farrow and Maximoff are in the car when Akara calls Farrow about not filling in activity logs. He tells Farrow that Quinn is copying his bad behaviors. Maximoff is trying to evade paparazzi when some of the other bodyguards start airing through comms Maximoff's cousin, Tom's first live performance with his band The Carraways. Maximoff gets pulled over by the police for speeding. Twenty-seven-year-old Farrow Keene has one job: protect Maximoff Hale. Flirting, dating, and hot sex falls far, far out of the boundary of his bodyguard duties and into "termination" territory. But when feelings surface, protecting the sexy-as-sin, stubborn celebrity becomes increasingly complicated.

What if…I just give you my heart and soul for safe-keeping?” I ask tearfully. “We’ve made a swap then. ‘Cause I’m pretty sure you already have mine.”

the OA scene pls the second hand embarrassment was at its PEAK I cannot even ✋ KBR did lunelly so dirty idc it was totally unnecessary. I just realized I just went through all the Hale children (which makes sense since this is Moffy’s book). For the other children, I love seeing Tom in the Rainbow Brigade scene. He is such a rebel and troublemaker – “shit-stirrer” as Rose says Chapter 32: Farrow is helping Loren make pasta for Luna's birthday dinner. Loren keeps shooing Maximoff out of the kitchen whenever he wants to help until Lily comes in. Loren talks to Farrow and Lily asks if he has any friends that he could set up with Maximoff. Akara, Farrow, Jane, Sullivan and Maximoff are preparing to confront Brad, Tyler and their friends. They'd been making more lewd suggestions and comments about Jane. Sullivan and Akara decide not to go confront them and stay behind. Meanwhile, Maximoff and Jane go to confront them. People start videoing them with their phones when an article goes public accusing Maximoff and Jane of being in an incestuous sexual relationship. The authors said in their note, that these two will get another book, and my first thought was "oh, please no!" There are so many other characters that can take the spotlight! Another aspect of this book that I enjoyed was getting to learn more about Farrow. We got to learn more about his time as a resident, why he quit, and how he really felt about it. Part of me was initially annoyed about how things turned out in this book in regards to that stuff but I eventually got over it. Farrow came to terms with what he truly wanted and so I was able to, too. He managed to get everything he wanted and boy was I happy for him. Very satisfying “ending” to their trilogy (though the twins have said they would be interested in doing more—woo!). I love that this duo doesn't do ridiculous relationship drama. Despite all of their series' featuring the same couple in multiple books, I rarely if ever have to worry about separations and break-ups. Stuff still happens, but the couples battle it together.
