About this deal

If you want to add a little zest to your morning coffee, I have the perfect coffee recipe for you. This delicious orange coffee has real orange zest! Enjoy! I was in there looking for nothing in particular, my favourite way to shop at the budget spot, when I spotted my favourite coffee. With bright orange lid and chrome tub, I'd recognise Nescafe Azera anywhere. But wait. Gently scoop your frothed milk or non-dairy on top so that it stays in a separate layer from the mocha coffee mixture. Before first use and after each use, remove lid and wash with warm soapy water. Rinse and thoroughly dry. The often-used coffee beans to water ratio is 1:4. This is in case you like to grind your coffee yourself. This ratio also yields a very strong coffee concentrate.

Coffee or Espresso with orange juice in the morning is not a new idea by any means. A side of orange juice with your coffee in the morning has been a tried-and-true tradition, so let us combine the two for a refreshing bumble bee coffee drink. Yes it's not bad. The popularity of instant coffee here does surprise me. When you think how many many thousands of coffee shops have sprung up over the last 15 years or so. Brits have easy access to freshly brewed coffee now, I just assumed tastes would change and instant coffee would become less popular, seemingly not. Pour the strained coffee concentrate into a clean pint jar, screw on the lid and store in the fridge. We know what you are thinking! Coffee and orange juice together in one cup? Really? You got to be kidding, right? Non-Dairy or Dairy of Choice – Almond milk, soy milk, oat milk or even whole milk all froth well. We have had less success frothing coconut milk. However, the So Delicious brand Dairy Free Organic Creamer made with Coconut Milk froths like a champ. We use the Earth ECHO Frother for great results. I don't know why you'd drink that rubbish anyway! It was fine in the 80s and maybe 90s, I feel that many in the UK didn't know any better! A relative newcomer to coffee, Azera had been recommended to me loads after my complaints that I couldn't find anything that's quite as good as making a fresh cup in my beloved AeroPress.

One thing I'm trying to perfect is cold-brewed coffee, essentially steep the ground coffee in cold water overnight, filter and keep the liquor in a jug in the fridge and use it by adding hot water or milk or reheating it. A much smoother drink than from the hot brewed cafetiere or wotnot, and of course it's essentially home-made "instant"! Prep this citrus-infused drink ahead and enjoy whenever you need a caffeine fix. Plus, it is easy to make and can last over a week in the fridge when stored properly! But I don't drink instant in any form. It's so easy to just make your own with a cafetière (or many other methods), and there's no comparison. It's so much fun to use, and I enjoy the coffee-making ritual as much as the drink itself. It's a little plastic thing that looks like it'd be something they'd make coffee in on the International Space Station. You load it up and force the water through, manually, like a big syringe. And then you enjoy exactly what it promises, smooth and flavourful coffee. There are some wonderful things that you can do with those empty coffee cans and I’ve collected 30 of the craftiest ideas for you. Jump to: Even though cold brew coffee seems like a recent fad, it's actually been around for hundreds of years! The earliest record of cold brewed coffee is Japan in the 1600s, although many believe it is possible that they learned about it from Dutch traders. Of course, after the coffee is gone and the can is empty, it’s just one more thing that you have to throw out, right? Not necessarily.

You can drink your cold brew immediately after straining, or you can stash it in the refrigerator for a later time or to cool it down. I should say products rather than brands. Nescafé's Azera is light years ahead of the basic Nescafé (original). But of course there's also freeze dried coffee from Douwe Egberts, Cafe Direct or supermarket own brands off the top of my head. So, if you’re a coffee drinker, or someone in your house is, then chances are you have a few of these empty coffee cans around the house. If you do not have a frother, add your cold dairy or non-dairy of choice in a large jar with a lid. Place the lid on tightly and shake the jar until the milk is frothy and about double in volume. You can make plain cold brew coffee, or try one of my fun flavor suggestions- there are directions for both! It's easy to make healthy flavored coffee using the cold brewing method.I should say products rather than brands. Nescafé's Azera is light years ahead of the basic Nescafé. But of course there's also freeze dried coffee from Douwe Egberts, Cafe Direct or supermarket own brands off the top of my head. Freshly brewed coffee does tend to be a strong drink which does not lend itself to being watered down. Instant works better as a more mild drink. Instant coffee is an entirely different drink to freshly brewed coffee. It's a bit like comparing fresh orange juice to orange squash. And some people prefer squash to the real thing. You don't have to prefer the so-called superior product - each to their own. Making it is easy too, you just need a orange for orange zest and a Seattle’s Best Breakfast Blend K-Cup or Ground Coffee. Or whatever coffee you happen to have on hand right now. This coffee will be strong, so if you don't take cream or milk in your coffee, you will likely want to dilute with some water. Start by adding one tablespoon of cold water at a time, tasting between each addition to get to your desired strength.
