The second complaint about Harley is probably the most obvious one — once she showed up this basically could have been called Harley Quinn & the Birds of Prey. It was all Harley, all the time. And the bad kind of Harley. They Harley that has no self-reflection or filter. I can certainly see why a book like this would be fun for someone with little to no familiarity of the team and this being their introduction, but the way it feels alienating to the existing reader base is disappointing. With a different lineup I would have still liked to read the book feeling like a Birds of Prey�title in its story and dynamic, but this feels more like if the ’90s X-Force�team had an all-women DC equivalent. It’s certainly an interesting choice. Villains Out Shopping: Issue #13 features Oracle calling Catman to get information on a foe the Birds are facing, and it is revealed that she caught him while he was frying an egg for his dinner.Break the Haughty: Happens to Spy Smasher after Oracle gets fed up with her leadership.
