Well then... with distance and the necessary openness: it bears the name, it fills the usual bottle and yet it is not. The combination of sea notes and seaweed will remind you of the sea. It gets much saltier in the middle. However, despite its versatility, the fragrance might not be suited for all seasons. Its prominent woody and citrusy notes work wonderfully in the freshness of spring and the crisp air of fall, but they might feel a bit out of place in the heat of summer or the chill of winter.

I am going to explore, what it smells like, how it performs, when it should be worn, and if it is actually worth a try. Please continue below for my full take on Absolu. This scent for the 21st century is on the path to making a mark. Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio Absolu Instinct Anyway, AdG Absolu, opens with the citrus notes, some pear/apple, wood, sea water, and tonka bean. It’s a very fresh aquatic, but is grounded with the woody notes, and doesn’t get too far into just being a citrus water fragrance; like so many others.It’s not really a mature scent, but not one that would only appeal to teenagers or college guys. I’m not sure that I’d wear this one on a formal occasion, but it would fit for everything else, no problem. Skews younger, but a cologne that can get a lot of use for that demographic. While this smells nice, it's still too expensive, and doesn't last long. It projects ok for an hour, and then stays pretty close, but I wouldn't call it a skin scent until hour 4, by which point, I don't smell it at all. It's one of those "here and gone" performers, because one minute, I smell it in the air, the next, I smell nothing. To clarify.. not that it's legitimately here and gone, time wise, but here and gone performance wise. The versatility for Absolu is perhaps its biggest selling point. While it seems like it’d be one strictly for the summertime, it can actually fit in during any time of the year. So, guys who are looking for an all purpose scent, should give this one consideration. Parfumul incearca sa faca lucrurile mai interesante prin adaugarea unor detalii olfactive pentru a „murdari” acordul iteratiei anterioare, realizand acest obiectiv cu unele note de lemn sintetic cu adevarat abraziv, care au aparut separat pe niveluri tolerabile in alte parfumuri de nisa. The performance is still acceptable for a designer fragrance. It is just "only an eau de toilette" I personally would have expected something more, because the fragrance creation with the durability is not in proportion.

The bottle is really nicely made, beside the Profumo bottle for me the most elegant, above all the golden writing on dark brown glass. This is older than AdG Profondoas a release, but that resin, woods, and marine aroma have significant overlap between the two. Profondo is just a better scent overall. It’s mostly at the beginning that they smell alike and this Armani fragrance is much better in my opinion. Aqua can have this stinky dry down of the sea notes, but the Armani doesn’t.The perfume had a shelf life of just under 8 hours at room temperature and 5.5 hours in the heat outside. Sillage, unfortunately, a little reserved, could be stronger. The scent was “inspired by the moment when the sea meets the most precious wood” and “embraces the sensual relationship between man and nature, mixing the power of water with the delicate texture of wood”, intended to represent a "modern, spontaneous and sensual" form of masculinity. The perfumer is Alberto Morillas. I am not surprised by the better rating compared to the predecessor Absolu. Nevertheless, I consider the predecessor to be too badly rated. But the tastes are very subjective, especially for perfumes! The charm of the fruity notes decreases from the opening, and the ambergris becomes heavy to maximize the salty tone of the fragrance. It enhances the aquatic side of the cologne. Emanatia aromelor si a notelor pentru acest flanker se desfasoara intr-un vartej de citrice si note de deschidere marine, inclusiv citrice, lamaie si apa de mare. Notele de centru si acordurile lemnoase din inima se imbina cu alge si patchouli, in timp ce notele din baza lemnoasa lasa o impresie de arbore de abanos si chihlimbar.
