About this deal

I was so impressed with the old Makita drill/driver that I decided at that point to invest into future Makita gear for whatever job I required it to do. I came across a Makita 18v drill some years ago and it was well used when I obtained it. A couple of new batteries later and I carried on using it in places I didn't really fancy using a power drill in the event that drill snagged and twisted the power drill out of my hand like if I'm up a ladder.

The Makita 4329 Jigsaw is ideally suited for light duty activities and will appeal to both the professional and the serious DIY enthusiasts. Incorporating a counterweight balancing system, which reduces vibration, the 4329 can be used for long periods without operator fatigue occurring. A sliding dust cover improves dust collection and prevents the scattering of chips. Fitted with a smooth rigid aluminium base which is rustproof and glides over the workpiece. Bevel cutting up to 45 degrees left or right is also possible with the tiltable base. Would I recommend it? Yes without a doubt, but only if you want to spend that little extra for quality as appose to cheap. If you are on the hunt for a jigsaw that is very durable and offers you a high level of performance, look no further than this one. Makita 4329 capable of handling both heavy and light jobs which include cutting materials like wood, metal, plastic, and more. Useful features like the dust port keep your station clean, variable speed for getting clean crip cut depending on the material and most importantly, it’s ergonomic design. Its price tag is it’s biggest selling point because it is affordable especially for those who don’t have the funds to shell out on an expensive model. If it is a fine cut in wood or a straight one in plaster you're looking for without going as heavy as a circular saw, the jigsaw is a practical tool when it comes to carrying out simple work. Depending on the material to be processed, the product range also offers the right accessories, in addition to the machines themselves. For example, there are many different saw blades that can be used, just like with sanders & grinders. The differences in the sawblades are mostly size, width and coarseness of the prongs. A perennial example of this is the Makita 4329, which is always a popular choice. But how is it measuring up? Makita 4329 - The Lowdown
