About this deal

All the paints are tested to high safety standards, and are solvent and VOC free. They don’t have a nasty odour when you’re working with them, making them easier to work with indoors, and the low toxicity means they be painted onto children’s toys and cribs. Cupboards: Any of the Frenchic paints that work on wood will be a great option for cupboards, such as the original range, the Al Fresco range, and the Lazy Range can all be used. If looking to paint kitchen or bathroom cupboards, you should opt for a waterproof option like the Al Fresco. Frenchic are best known for their chalk and mineral based paints, but the range is broader than that, including:

Kitchens: Due to the moisture level within kitchens, you should opt for a Frenchic paint that performs well with water – like the Lazy Range. Sometimes, more than two coats are required, especially if the original piece of furniture is dark or orangey toned and you are painting with a white or cream. There are 18 eye-catching colours to choose from in The Lazy Range, including the warm and inviting pink and beige confection, Nougat, the rich and juicy purple of Plum Pudding, and the versatile Moody Blue, which can look either bright or brooding depending on what you choose to pair it with. Safe and easy to use

Whether you’re upcycling pre-loved furniture or refreshing your interior walls and woodwork, we have a selection of beautiful colours on offer – from whites, off-whites, pastels and neutrals to the bold, bright and brilliantly unique. Apply with a good quality brush or a roller. Also suitable for spraying - thin with up to 15% tap water and apply additional coat(s).

A great tip is to paint with your brush strokes following the grain of the wood (which tends to run along the width of surfaces or up and down/along legs or ledges). This will make for a natural looking finish. Craig gives great demo in the video of how to deal with areas where panels meet, and the grain is at different angles. Not all chalk paint is the same! Frenchic gives you something a little bit different, with beautiful, versatile and innovative chalk and mineral paints. From traditional artisan products to our award-winning self-sealing collections, your whole home – indoor and outdoor – is covered.
