Ambre d'alexandrie is harmonious, aesthetic, round, has no corners and edges, stays warm, quite one-sided, has a great durability and sillage. I find musk always inescapable. It dominates and smells. And I just don't like it and unfortunately I wrote it several times. Ambre d'Alexandrie begins with a very warm impact of soft spiciness and full-bodied sweetness. The spiciness is my favourite and interesting part of the fragrance. It is not a spicy-scratchy direction a lá Sauvage. It is also not a spice that would create a fresh impact or even want to offend! No! This spiciness remains warm like the fragrance itself and blends harmoniously and softly with the sweet vanilla. As if she didn't want to attract attention at all and just wanted to blend in with the rest of the sweet notes. And yet she may not succeed. It remains feathery, aromatic and present. That is the point of this fragrance: it radiates an aura of harmony and warmth without being too intrusive or boring. Ich bin hier auch falsch. Jaja. Das ist kein Kavaliersdelikt. Nicht meine Baustelle. Nicht nichts davon. Aber so nicht. Was verstehe ich überhaupt? Wo ist mein Geruchsempfinden willkommen? In dieser Zusammenstellung ganz klar, nur für mich gültig, nirgends.

So erlesen wie 'ne E-Zigarre aus Kuba. Oder ein Fliegender Teppich der gleich beim ersten Ausklopfen anspringt. Ganz im Hintergrund ist ein ganz feiner und wärmender balsamischer Hauch von Milchschokolade wahrnehmbar, sodass man schon ein wenig der Meinung ist, dass neben dem Kuchen ein Kakao steht, dessen Duft einem in die Nase weht und der Benzoe zu verdanken ist.

Där bytte handelsmän sina tillgångar, så som kryddor, hartser och amber, stenen med flera dygder. En doft med en överraskande mystik och hypnotiserande blandning. Öppnar upp med en touch av citrus från bergamott tillsammans med en lätt rökelse. Cistus och vanilj förgyller hjärtat med en varm och söt harmoni. En dyrbar bas av amber och banzoin, ger en orientaliskt tydlig karaktär.

Das Labdanum wird von einer unglaublich schönen anschmiegsamen und kuscheligen süß - würzigen Note umschlossen, der man sich sehr schwerlich entziehen kann, sogar in einem die Sehnsucht nach Liebe aufkommt und vom Amberakkord herrührt. Ein bisschen Orientalistik kommt auf. Eigentlich sehr schöner Name. Stark, historisch, erlesen impliziert. Geruchsseitig wohl eher ganz bisschen und auch gscheid billig. Wirkt synthethisch. Richtiger Orient wäre Arabie. Kennt ihr das Gefühl, wenn man in der Sauna sitzt und der Saunameister einen unerträglich heißen Aufguss macht? - Der heiße aromatisierte Dampf brennt beim ersten Atemzug ganz besonders in den Nasenschleimhäuten. Klingt nicht sexy, aber das ist ein bisschen meine erste Assoziation der Kopfnote (natürlich nicht ganz so drastisch). Shisha-Note? Darauf wäre ich nicht gekommen, aber gut, wir einigen uns auf etwas Heißes, das dampft. ;)
