The NF-A12x25 impeller features suction side Flow Acceleration Channels. By speeding up the airflow at the crucial outer blade regions, this measure reduces suction side flow separation and thus leads to better efficiency and lower vortex noise. Ultra-tight tip clearance In addition, the hub area of the fan is reinforced with metal to improve stability. The impeller of the NF-A12x25 LS-PWM is on the suction side with so-called flow acceleration channelsfitted. These accelerate the air in the outdoor areas, so that efficiency is improved and the volume is reduced. The air flow is further optimized by the stepped inlet area and the microstructure in the inner area of the frame. With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency. Integrated anti-vibration pads If you're using multiple NF-A12x25 PWM fans, you can use the supplied y-cable (NA-YC1) to connect several fans to one PWM fan header. This way, your motherboard will set all the connected fans to run at the same speed.
The NF-A12x25 PWM comes with a 4-pin PWM fan connector for fully automatic speed control via your motherboard's 4-pin PWM fan headers. Please note that the fan can also be connected to 3-pin fan headers though. When connected to 3-pin fan headers, the NF-A12x25 PWM will run at full speed (unless the motherboard supports voltage based speed control). The fan’s short 20cm primary cable minimises cable clutter in typical applications while the supplied 30cm extension provides extended reach when necessary. The Noctua NF-A12x25 LS-PWM is a special version of the flagship model NF-A12x25 PWM and runs at a particularly low speed ex works . Thanks to aerodynamic design measures, it achieves an impressive silent cooling performance. This is made possible, among other things, by the narrow impeller gap of just 0.5 mm. Equipped with a 4-pin PWM connection , the fan speed can be regulated and is between 450 and 1,200 revolutions per minute. The fan runs extremely quietly with a maximum of 12.1 dB (A) and still offers an air throughput of up to 55.7 m³ / h (32.78 cfm) and a static pressure of 0.82 mmH2O. The fan includes a USB power adaptor cable that allows it to run on power banks, devices with USB host ports or USB power supplies such as those used for smartphones, giving you near endless possibilities for using the fan in your home, in your car or wherever a need for cooling occurs!
