A brand new toy range released this month from the makers of the phenomenal Goo Jit Zu brand. Just like their counterparts these new goozonians are a sensory delight. Developed with kids aged four to six in mind these are not purely for one gender, but there’s a definite feminine vibe here as it was very clear the original brand was a big hit with both boys and girls. Paloma was delighted to see more female superheroes in the world! Meet the GooZonians! The webisode opens with preparations underway for the Diamond Goo-bilee, and follows the characters’ adventures as they search the land for the hidden power charms. Kids will be swept up in the magic, as they watch their favourite character become transformed into superheroes, with charms that will help to prevent the destruction of the realm!
A singing, dancing, acting triple threat, she’s the Artistic Director of the Royal Performance Company. She keeps the girls entertained when they need a break from studies and Stone Heart missions. Glyde is a shy, enigmatic introvert who loves to puzzle out problems and strategize ways to stop the Stone Heart. The toys are great for children who love tactile toys because they are squishy and stretchy. Each character has a different filling and they are either made from a firm but stretchy glucose or a much more squishy material filled with liquid. Their heads are hard plastic and can be rotated so they can look different directions. Inside each character there is a hidden charm to look for, but you’ll need to stretch and squeeze them to look for it. The characters stretchy clothes can be removed and switched between characters if you want, but I think this is a bit fiddly and that they look better on the right one. I’m worried about how far the toys will stretch before the break, they really are super stretchy and squishy, but I'm sure if they have a limit my children will test them too it. Roxy is the royal spokesperson and heads up the castle’s social committee.She organises Ember and Flik’s social calendar and runs the sisters’ Prism feed (GooZonia’s leading social media platform) and is the life of the party in GooZonia. These charms gave the GooZonians the power to defeat the Stone Heart. Fearing that some would be tempted to use them for ill, Cinder hid the charms across the land, but now the Stone Heart has returned, and her great-great-great-great granddaughters Queen Ember and Princess Flik must find them to protect GooZonia from the ApoGoolypse! Princess Flik is the youngest heir to the GooZonian throne in several generations. By 5 minutes that’s it! Her twin sister Ember was born first! Many generations ago, a strange force of nature, known as Stone Heart, turned the goo dull and hardened it throughout the land and the hearts of the people. To save her people the Queen Cinder infused the last of the flowing goo with ancient magic to create six powerful charms. These charms gave the people of GooZonia the power to narrowly defeat the Stone Heart and reverse the effects. Isla is an avid surfer and animal lover and the most environmentally aware GooZonian. As a result, she’s become the Royal Steward of the eGoosphere.

Queen Ember, Princess Flik and the superheroes juggle getting used to their new powers, royal responsibilities and of course squad goals while preventing the ApoGoolypse!Flik loves sharing the castle with her sister Ember, She is impulsive in her duty of patrolling the realm. She is ready to battle the Stone Heart anywhere, anytime. This launch coincides with another first for Character Options, the firm’s first child-facing YouTube channel, Character Kidz TV, which has been branded in-line with the company’s annual Character Kidz event.
