About this deal

A low voltage warning function will gradually reduce the output until low is reached if the battery voltage is no longer sufficient to support the current brightness level, and will remain in low until the batteries are completely drained or replaced. Still, it wouldn’t hurt anything to have this light turn on in High, and it wouldn’t have cost Fenix anything extra. I don’t understand that decision. The thin optical lens used in some of recent Fenix E-series flashlight models. Sitting behind this optics is the MATCH CA18-3X2 LED from Genesis Photonics (couldn't find much information about this LED except who manufacture it). When it comes to form-factor…well, that’s where the Fenix E12 V2.0 really shines. But it’s also this light’s biggest failure, so… Anti-Roll Flats: No, but the clip can arrest rolling, if need be. Category 5: Durability & Water Resistance

We are the home of Fenix lighting products in the United Kingdom, supplying a network of UK retailers, companies and individual customers from our base in Cardiff. Fenix E12 v2.0 (2020) is really small and lightweight (also depending on what battery you use) and can easily disappear in your hand...But generally, you should attach the lanyard through these two holes on the tailcap. Both sides of the tailcap have holes. Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using 1 x AA alkaline battery under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.

Because the clip is two-way, this light will work well as a hatlight. And everything negative I said about bezel up carry would be a positive for hat light use. Power and Runtime We already have a fantastic review starting this thread, and i couldn't come close to doing one like that. The Fenix E12 LED light is a good investment if you want a flashlight that will last for a very long period of time. This is because it is sturdily constructed from durable aircraft-grade aluminum, which is a lightweight and strong metal. In addition, it has a type 3 hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish, which can resist corrosion and other tough conditions. The tail cap switch is designed in a way that it can protect the tail cap switch. If you intend to use the flashlight in a camp or something similar, you can make it stand on the tail cap and act like a candle. Here are a couple of runtimes. I don’t really note any low voltage protection, but the output is so low by the end there, that you’ll notice.Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare. Fenix torches are known for their impressive brightness levels, often ranging from a few hundred to several thousand lumens, providing excellent visibility in various conditions. They often incorporate multiple lighting modes (low, medium, high, strobe, SOS, etc.) in their torches to cater to different situations and conserve battery life.

Maximum beam distance 88 meters, waterproof to 2 meters and impact resistant to drops from 1 meter. All that confusing nonsense is to say: this is a really, really small flashlight! The new size and shape really make me want to like it! The tailswitch boot button is covered by 2 protruding lanyard hole design and the boot is recessed enough for tail-standing. I wish Fenix E20 v2.0 has the same design though...Shown here alongside an Oveready BOSS 35 and a Fenix E01 V2. The E01 is not much smaller, and weighs just under an ounce. I’m not a huge fan of twisty interfaces, so I would almost always carry the E12 for the little bit of extra weight. Please take out the battery if the flashlight will not be used for a long time, or it may cause damage from electrolyte leakage or battery explosion. Light is fully stabilized! And it’s okay in Mid, you may expect it.But even in HIGH as well! In the latter case, this will require cooling, which is surprising in itself. I don’t remember any 2xAA model with thermal regulation. So in the presence of some kind of breeze or use in cold weather, you can expect an hour and a half or two (depending on the battery capacity) of a light that is quite practical in terms of brightness. What I like is the compact size for a 2xAA light, that the beam is nice - cool but without any green that I can see. Crenelated Bezel: No. On a light this small it doesn’t matter from a defensive standpoint; this light is not an effective impact weapon.
