Description

reproduce, copy, distribute, sublease, resell or use the Software for any other commercial purposes, As standard, the Endgame Gear XM2we is a wireless gaming mouse. Equipped with a 410mAh battery, the XM2we lasts a week of gameplay without recharging. Included within the box is the removeable Endgame Gear Flex Cord 3.0 for when you need to charge and play. Incredibly flexible, this braided cable has an angled exit from the shell, reducing drag as you manoeuvre tight corners and complex dungeons. This cable is USB 2.0 Type a to USB-C, providing a 1,000 Hz polling rate and greater compatibility when connecting to your gaming PC tower. The User is permitted to save and use the Software on an end device (e.g. PC, laptop, mobile phone or tablet). The User is responsible for ensuring that the device meets the minimum requirements of the Software. The User ensures that the Software is only used in accordance with the requirements of this Agreement. The CompX CX52850 MCU provides stable wireless connectivity at a 1000Hz polling rate. Combined with the PixArt PAW3370 sensor running in corded mode, it guarantees optimal gaming performance. The XM2we Configuration Software lets you remap all your buttons and adjust debounce time, polling rate, and sensor settings (CPI, LoD, etc.).

The XM2we's design is sleek and durable, with reliable components and a new large skate design. It's the same shape as XM1 but with a lower overall weight while using a 410mAh battery. The coating is still the same matte UV coating from XM1 and XM1r, which offers a perfect grip even with sweaty hands. The XM2we charges by a supplied USB-C cable (180cm) with an angled connector. But actually, once we got used to it, the weight of the XM2we proved to be a boon. It means it glides seamlessly over your mousemat and puts less strain on your wrist. It’s not too light that it feels cheap and flimsy: it’s comfortable to use while still feeling sturdy and well-made. The Endgame Gear XM2we Gaming Mouse is equipped with two standard buttons, a scroll wheel and two buttons on the side. On the underside of the mouse you’ll find a button which lets you toggle the speed of the mouse on the fly, with several pre-programmed settings. In terms of responsiveness, we have no complaints with the XM2we, and we’ve experienced no delay due to the wireless connection. Simply plug in the USB adapter and the mouse will instantly connect – and the 1000HZ polling rate ensures a stable and optimal connection. We've converted this review to Test Bench 1.5. This update adds a new Main Button test group, which provides button actuation data and switch information. We've also made minor changes to how we calculate the Office usage score. For more details, you can see our full changelog here. A contributory negligence on the part of the User will be of consideration when assessing PGW’s liability. Contributory negligence on the part of the User according to this Agreement shall be assumed in the case of non-compliance with the User’s rights and obligations. The mouse’s buoyant 63g weight and large underside skates help it slide seamlessly along your mousepad or desk, and it really feels beautifully smooth in use. Whether you’re flying around the screen in a frenzy of RTS micromanagement or ponderously renewing contracts for your squad of egotistical divas in Football Manager, you’re going to love doing it with this mouse (well, maybe not the contracts bit).

Once you have removed all the old skates from the base your mouse, give the surface a clean by using rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl). This will remove any excess adhesive that may still be present. Leave the mouse to dry, and then it's time to apply the new ones.

Of course, the downside to being wireless means that you’re going to have to charge the XM2we mouse every so often. The internal battery is 410mAh, and the official description of the mouse says it gives “one week of gameplay”. Of course, how long the battery lasts will depend wholly on how heavily you use your computer. But charging is no problem: it comes with a braided USB cable, so simply plug it in once in a while to keep the battery topped up. You can use it while wired, or just leave it to charge while you’re away from your desk. Thanks to Endgame Gear for supplying us with an XM2we review unit for the purposes of this article.
