About this deal

Possibly Tettnanger or Saaz hops (I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m completely wrong there), very light however and with the beer being chilled there’s not much of an aroma to talk about. I don’t find lager the most aromatic beer anyway. This new brewery is in the heart of Wrexham town centre and was built by the world’s leading brewer, Kaspar Schulz of Bamberg, the world’s oldest brewery. For 340 years, the company has built breweries, and it is well known for its quality work and the quality of the facilities it builds. Who Makes Bootlegger Beer?

Joss said: “I’m very grateful for how much Bootlegger is a part of this company. He’s given us massive exposure here when Rob (McElhenney) and Ryan (Reynolds) weren’t here. Joss Roberts of Wrexham Lager added: "We’re very pleased to see that Home Bargains see the true potential our products have with giving us a national listing straight off. I'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone who does support us, every single bottle is greatly appreciated and we are just enjoying the ride with you." Bootlegger himself was absolutely delighted with the news, he said: "I think it's a monumental day for Wrexham Lager and the town of Wrexham.Wrexham lager is a beer that was first brewed in Wrexham, Wales. The beer is named after the Titanic, which sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in 1912. The Titanic was the largest ship in the world at the time of its sinking, and the Wrexham lager is brewed in honor of that ship. The beer is a light lager with a 4.7% alcohol by volume. In terms of what the future holds for the company, Roberts stressed that the continued support of its loyal customers was vital. He said: "The main thing for us is that if our customers are happy, then we’re happy. Joss explained how pleased everyone at the brewery is at this achievement, and Aldi who have seen the positive reaction to the news online. They believe the exposure will also be good for the town, but they also recognise Bootlegger’s contribution (the internet sensation involved in the creation of the Bootlegger Pilsner). When Wrexham and Wales legend says: “I thought that I’d lived a colourful life until I read about Karl’s adventures” then you can expect hijinks aplenty. Karl Phillips. Photo by Karen F Viral fame has indeed been a double-edged sword for Bootlegger. Part of his online profile came from a very unfortunate incident when Wrexham faced their bitter rivals Chester. A grossly-offensive chant came from the opposition supporters during a minute’s silence, which Karl had captured on video.

Our conversation with Karl was a rip-roaring laugh for the most part. The hard-working, champion-of-the-working-class persona he portrays online shines right through. This is a man who lives for the weekend, exudes positive energy and of course, he loves his beer.Karl Phillips, better known as Bootlegger has certainly played his part in elevating the fortunes of the club currently undergoing the Hollywood treatment. If you’re ever in North Wales, especially around Wrexham, you’ll find this lager on draught in most pubs and bars. It’s not as strong as the bottled version coming in at 4%abv and I think this makes all the difference. It’s a perfect beer, not too strong, a good session beer. It’s mouth feel is fantastic, smooth, rounded and the malt gives an almost warm, nutty taste. German hops give a perfect, understated finish. I can’t speak highly enough, so onto the bottled version.
