So, what are you waiting for? The brilliant Beano Christmas Special 2023 is out now - so do your (Christmas) elf a favour and get one while you can! Beano Christmas Special Yes, that’s right! Class Indigo 1 (Year 5) from Greasley Beauvale Primary School in Eastwood crowned the nation’s funniest with “What happened to the maths teacher’s garden? It grew square roots” joke above proving once and for all (as if any of us ever doubted) that maths + jokes = lols! Jokes poured in from all corners of the country for this year’s competition, and whittled down to a shortlist of the Top Ten funniest schools by Beano’s gag masters before the public crowned the winner. All of this year’s finalist jokes have made the nation laugh and giggle and we thank every single class that took part in the competition. Many different traditions are associated with Easter. Yes, one of the most well-known of these traditions is the Easter egg, which represents new life and rebirth. It is said that the tradition of colouring eggs comes from an ancient belief that eggs were a symbol of new life.

Treat Beano Fan Club Membership as an add-on to and get more from a Beano comic subscription, or buy this as a standalone. If you already have (or the child you buy for has) a Beano comic subscription, the two are managed separately. Inside, the celebs help Beanotown kids stop Mayor Brown from carving his own face into Mount Beano. There are many other traditions, too. Many churches hold special services and events at Easter, including sunrise services and Easter egg hunts. Families might get together for a special meal or perhaps exchange gifts, like chocolate eggs or a new outfit for children. These are the Competition Information and Terms and Conditions for the “Beano Birthday 2023” Competition to contribute to the Beano Birthday mini-magazine, inserted in the Beano 85th Anniversary issue, on sale on 26.07.2023.
