In the map of Cybertron from the " Binder of Revelation" included in Transformers Vault, Barricade is listed as having lived in Iacon. If it helps I presently like to judge figures not only by how well they are designed but by how well hollows are concealed, and how solid they are. Since I decided to collect transformers again this Soundwave is my favorite. Soundwave emerged from the Well of All Sparks sometime during or before the Age of Wrath. As the Quintessons took control of Cybertron, they helped establish civilization across the planet, and a ruling body of Cybertronians to oversee the day-to-day activities the Quints wished the Cybertronians to perform. An election was held that named Sentinel Zeta as Prime, and Soundwave became a member of his council of thirteen. When Megatron assaults the prison complex built around the impact crater that resulted from Trypticon's crash landing, Soundwave accompanies him. They discover that Trypticon has been disassembled and is being slowly drained of his Energon, however, he is still alive. Megatron has a plan from just removing Trypticon's battery core to freeing Trypticon himself. This character article is a stub and is missing information on their fictional appearances. Customizable weapon load out: soundwave figure comes equipped with 3 weapon accessories that can combine to form a larger weapon. Multiple weapon ports on figure and vehicle enable weapon accessories to attach in custom configurations. In battle, Soundwave wielded the " Quantum Cutter" buzzsaw and a semi-auto " Super Annihilator Rifle" that comes equipped with two ammo mags. His active skill was "Sonic Shield": Including the Micro Change "Cassette Man" version, the original Soundwave mold has sported at least four different tape doors: The cassette-icons are nice but are a snug fit into his chest compartment. It may take a few movements in and out to get the door to work right. I like the added color and pattern they add.Soundwave died at some point after this, as Eject lamented that all the great and famous Cybertronians, including Soundwave, were long gone by the time Cybertron was under the control of the Builder Assembly. Broken Windshields Soundwave was of such renown that his face adorned the 100 denomination of cyber planet key, a unit considered a symbol of wealth on 24th century Cybertron. Not All Megatrons Timelines Soundwave was a Decepticon so horrible that even the other Decepticons hated him. During Megatron's latest scheme to take over the planet Earth, Soundwave attempted to blast Windcharger with his deadly concussion blaster gun, only to be repelled by Windcharger's magnetic powers. Battle for Earth Following Primus's transformation, the Autobots and Decepticons focused their efforts into locating the fourth and final Cyber Planet Key, which just so happened to be on Gigantion. With the Decepticons unable to voyage across time and space to the parallel dimension in which Gigantion was located, Soundwave seized upon another chance for revenge and opted to ally himself with the villains. Emerging before the Decepticons from a fiery portal in space, Soundwave performed a bit of dramatic posturing before revealing his name and informing them that he knew the way to the planet. Titans In one possible sequence of events, Soundwave plotted with Starscream to overthrow Megatron, and become joint leaders of the Decepticons. Unbeknownst to him, Soundwave was spied upon by the Autobot Cosmos.

Ravage and Decepticon Rumble also transform into data discs. Ravage is a robotic cat while Rumble is a robotic humanoid. Soundwave, Rumble, and Frenzy had a dance-off against Blaster, Cosmos, and Perceptor. Blaster VS Soundwave 2013 Soon thereafter, Megatron traveled to Earth, with Soundwave granting him access to the Decepticons' base while Starscream was out training with the Combaticons. Upon Starscream's return, Soundwave wielded Megatron in his gun mode, and blasted Starscream through the chest before the true leader of the Decepticons revealed himself to his usurper. The Route of All Evil Hasbro's first reissue of the original Soundwave toy was originally intended to be part of their Commemorative Series of Generation 1 reissues, but when that line was cancelled, it was instead released as part of the Classics toyline. The phrase "Commemorative Edition" is prominently displayed on the front and sides of the box, though, and it remains exclusive to Toys"R"Us, as all Commemorative Edition toys were. Sideswipe made his name at the Autobot victory of Kalis, bringing down Bruticus Maximus with Optimus Prime and Jazz. Sideswipe boasted that he tore off Bruticus' head, a claim Alpha Trion considered hyperbole. Optimus did not consider Sideswipe one of his closest comrades but he was often present at their meetings. He concurred with Jazz that fighting Darkened Decepticons was better than fleeing, and he did so when Megatron invaded Teletraan-1 and took the Plasma Energy Chamber. Afterwards he aided in extracting Optimus when he rescued Sentinel Prime from Kaon, and guarded over Jazz and Prowl as they recovered from that adventure. When Optimus returned from Cybertron's core with the Matrix of Leadership, he began Project Generation One, a plan to leave Cybertron as it purged itself of Megatron's poison. Though he understood why Optimus was doing it, it still felt to Sideswipe like they were quitting the war. He continued to accompany Optimus in sabotaging Trypticon and was appointed the Ark's pilot, ensuring it journeyed through the last space bridge, to a spiral galaxy—where the AllSpark was detected nearby. Exodus

Decepticon Frenzy is a redeco of Decepticon Rumble while Ratbat is a retool/redeco of Laserbeak transforming into a robotic bat. Soundwave was one of the Decepticons posted within the Decepticons' stronghold to prevent the Autobots from reaching their molecular transfer device. He failed, and was drained of his energy when Bumblebee managed to turn the machine against the Decepticons themselves. Summertime Coloring Book

Soundwave and the other Decepticons were battling the Autobots for control of a space bridge when a freak accident teleported everyone to the Japan of another universe. As they scouted out the terrain, Soundwave and Laserbeak reported on the miraculous energy source beneath the nearby Photonic Power Laboratory. The Decepticons watched as the Autobots took on and later allied with Kōji Kabuto and his Mazinger Z super robot after realizing that Baron Ashura had deliberately misled them into supporting the evil Mechanical Beasts. Not long after the evil robots retreated, the Decepticons sought out their leader Doctor Hell and formed an alliance. In robot mode, he features a case of faux parts: The centers of his feet are fake wheels (attached to the legs via ratchet joints) that are hidden in the rear section of his vehicle mode, while his real vehicle mode wheels end up on the sides of his chest (partially obscured by panels) and on his forearms. The Hasbro release of Masterpiece Soundwave features a slightly different deco than the Takara version, such as a yellow visor instead of a red one, and leaving the Rumble/Frenzy gun storage panels on his feet unpainted. All of the accessories included with the Takara release are ported over to the Hasbro set (with the exception of the cut-out images for use with his display panel), plus all five of the Masterpiece microcassettes. The cassettes also feature different decoes than their Takara counterparts (see their own articles for details), and their cases are cast in clear plastic instead of the translucent hot pink the Japanese versions came with. His highly truncated instructions omit any explanation of virtually all of his accessories, action features, and interactions with his minions. Finally, he has a designated number as part of the Thrilling 30 line. Soundwave was in the audience of a tag battle pitting Optimus Prime and Bumblebee against Megatron and Starscream. Oddly enough, he cheered when it seemed that the Autobots were going to win the match... Last Bot Standing
