About this deal

One Allevia fan told YorkshireLive: "It works. It's much more potent than regular hayfever tablets, so my reactions are much more under control. Fexofenadine hydrochloride is rapidly absorbed into the body following oral administration, with T max occurring at approximately 1-3 hours post dose. The mean C max value was approximately 427 ng/ml following the administration of a 120 mg dose once daily.

There are no data on the content of human milk after administering fexofenadine hydrochloride. However, when terfenadine was administered to nursing mothers fexofenadine was found to cross into human breast milk. Therefore TREATHAY 120 mg tablets is not recommended for mothers breast-feeding their babies. Breast-feeding women should only use TREATHAY 120 mg tablets if advised to do so by a doctor. Hayfever sufferers say the tablets are so good, they completely ended their hay fever symptoms. They described the tablets - which are stronger than traditional tablets like Cetirizine Hydrochloride and Loratadine - as making them feel like they don't even have hay fever at all any more. There's very little information about taking herbal remedies and supplements with fexofendadine. There might be a problem taking some herbal remedies and supplements with it, especially ones that cause sleepiness or a dry mouth, or make it difficult to pee. The heatwave that's hit the UK has raised pollen levels dangerously high for those who can't stand pollen, and there's been little rain to wash it away, meaning no chance of respite. There is very little information available, but it shows that only tiny amounts get into breast milk. It is unlikely to cause any side effects in your baby.

The usual dose for treating hives is 180mg once a day for adults and children aged 12 years and over. Fexofenadine does not undergo hepatic biotransformation and therefore will not interact with other medicinal products through hepatic mechanisms. Coadministration of fexofenadine hydrochloride with erythromycin or ketoconazole has been found to result in a 2–3 times increase in the level of fexofenadine in plasma. The changes were not accompanied by any effects on the QT interval and were not associated with any increase in adverse reactions compared to the medicinal products given singly. Weeks of blazing sunshine have been amazing for fans of barbecues, summer days out and festival goers - but not so great for hay fever sufferers.
