About this deal

Don't get me wrong though I enjoyed the film. Aiden Gillen is a brilliant bad guy, giving his character a Johnny Rotten swagger. I felt myself enjoying hating the Blitz and couldn't wait to see him get his just deserts but we could have done with getting a little more insight into his behaviour. Statham does a good job showing a little weakness now and then in his usually gruff demeanour. As I have already said Paddy Considine is great but not in it enough for my liking. London looks great and there is an exciting chase through the streets which is one of the high points of the movie. But turning off your brains won't help you sit out this one. Chaos is not decent even at its action aspect. A handful of fights and shootouts, also feeling just randomly put in, are all that's gonna be served to you. And served so lazily that the film doesn't even bother trying to explain why all the stupid stuff like an unexpectedly activated loud beeper while a person carrying one lies in an ambush could happen in the first place. In fact, it's even for the better, because when the film actually tries to explain something to create at least a resemblance of some mystery unfolded, it fails so miserably you'd wish you never heard that nonsense at all. Last Bullet' is really the story of Lino (Alban Denoir), a low level hood whose mechanical expertise is noticed by Police Chief Charas (Ramzy Bedia). Hired to soup up the Police vehicles and stay out of trouble, Lino finds himself in hot water when he's framed for murder and has to go on the run. In a desperate bid to prove his innocence, he needs to find and recover a single bullet, lodged in the dashboard of a car, all while avoiding the true culprits. I went to this movie with the lowest expectations and i just thought i would see a van dammed type of movie. But I was in for a surprise. The movie has good twists and action, I really loved the acting from Jasom Statham who is a really good actor! If you are an action movies fan then you shouldn't miss this movie... and don't think this movie is an all action movie, the story is well written and the twists are well made. I'd say go for it if you don't know which movie to watch!

Aidan Gillen plays a fabulous psycho with a thing for killing cops, and he's been one of my favourite British actors for the past 10 years anyway, so it would have been hard for him to screw this one up. The film also shows the weakness of the British legal system, quite similar to that of ours. When Weiss is finally apprehended, they must let him go. Yet our hero and his commanding officer take bitter revenge. It goes to show you that police rightfully have the last word.

The lines these guys speak when they're not doing the plot development and detective work can be summed up in one word.... pheeeuuuh. A London police precinct is at the center of this story. It has been in the tabloids because the aggressive nature of some of the men assigned to protect the public. No officer shows more of this trait than Brant, a man with a low toleration for criminals. Being in the news, a new man, Nash, is sent to be the head of the station. Nash is gay, not hiding from the fact. A criminal has been busy killing cops from the precinct, so Brant decides to seek the man by whatever means. He discovers the motive the assassin is using to eliminate the cops, so he teams with Nash to get the scum bag. a b c "CANADA Production Listings - June 22 2004". Screen Daily. 22 June 2004 . a b Syson, Damon (2 June 1995). "Jason Statham stays true to himself". The Independent. London. Archived from the original on 19 June 2017 . Retrieved 5 March 2011. His name's Jason Statham, he's 26 [in June 1995]... Brant is a no nonsense copper. Frequently in trouble for violent conduct, he drinks hard, smokes where he likes and can't operate a computer and sees typing to be like cooking – women's work. He is pretty much on his last chance whenever someone start killing police officers. The killers calls himself Blitz and informs a journalist that he intends to kill 8 more officers; meanwhile Brant joins his boss Nash to try and catch the killer before he strikes again. Wounds, bruises, makeup is amazing. Together with the action, seem credible, something close to what could really happen. I enjoyed this movie, especially the first half. Unfortunately, in the last 30 minutes or so, everything just fell apart. But it's still worthwhile. If you're a Statham fan, I would definitely recommend it.Paul Feig reveals why Bridesmaids 2 probably won't happen – but Spy 2 definitely could". Games Radar. 12 September 2019 . The plot is silly enough that it should be memorable, though. It's so convoluted that the plot twists have plot twists. In fact, you could pretty fairly say that this isn't really a plot so much as it's a sequence of plot twists that have been edited into a movie. So even though Statham had no acting experience or training, Richie cast him as Bacon, a central character who was attempting to make easy money to repay a huge gambling debt. 'Snatch' One of Brant's informants, Radnor ( Ned Dennehy), points Brant and Nash towards a man named Barry Weiss ( Aidan Gillen) who recently bragged about setting a police dog on fire, "for practice". Although Brant and Nash visit Weiss' flat, they cannot immediately find any evidence against him. Brant recognises Weiss as the man he beat up in a fight in a billiard hall a year earlier. Unknown to either of them, Radnor decides to conduct an investigation of his own and eventually discovers the seemingly abandoned car where Weiss keeps the trophies of his kills, confirming that Weiss is the killer. But the car chases are the big draw here and while it's disappointing that the actual car time is so sparse, the finale makes up for it. The last twenty minutes of the movie is bonnet-smashing, tyre squealing carnage and best of all, there's no CGI in sight. It's all done with practical effects, those are real cars being thrown into the air and driven into garages while on fire. Spy 2 was confirmed on 15 February 2018. [68] [69] But later in 2018, Feig explained that although a sequel to Spy could still happen, "there hasn't been any interest from the studio" in the project. [70] [71]

a b A&E (17 January 2016), Jason Statham on the Red Carpet | 2016 Critics' Choice Awards | A&E , retrieved 9 January 2018 Blitz" is actually one of the more interesting movies that Jason Statham has been in. Why? Well, for starters, this movie is not all about glorified violence with lots of cool camera angles, effects and the work. No, it is simply about the story and the characters in it. [76] Statham himself cites Stallone, Bruce Lee, Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, and Clint Eastwood as his inspirations. [79]
