Readfearn, Graham (6 December 2016). "More terrifying than Trump? The booming conspiracy culture of climate science denial". The Guardian . Retrieved 21 April 2020. Despite all his wild assertions & mind-bending claims, I did go on to read four more of his books, although they tend to be updated versions of what he's already written previously, augmented with any new 'information' he's unearthed.

It is also rumored that President Eisenhower had a secret meeting with a group of Nordic extraterrestrials who were attempting to convince the United States to disarm its nuclear missile program in exchange for advanced technology. The event is said to have taken place in February 1954 at Edwards Air Force Base under the guise of Eisenhower undergoing emergency dental surgery. It is believed that this meeting did not end with any sort of agreement. One problem I have is he pulls from sources that are out and out contradictory. In fact he pulls stuff from just about branch of the "conspiracy" tree. One example is he comes from a very new agey viewpoint and also has whole chapters debunking Christianity but he also uses some of the most dogmatic right Christian spins on the world situation when it suits him too. You have chapters that remind me of a hokey Geraldo Satanism special from the 1980's with Pat Robertson as an editor.

Sadly for me, many of his theories fall down though as they fail to stand up to any real scrutiny & examination - he rarely presents any provable scientific or recorded evidence for his claims (despite his enthusiasm for them), too-often relying on anecdotal evidence & his own confirmation-bias.

Then there are Conspiracies with a capital "C". These are the ones that involve "they". "They" are the few and mysterious game-players that are behind every event and every government. "They" are the puppet masters who secretly plan every turn. "They" are the excuse we give ourselves for feeling powerless.Wainwright, Martin; Stratton, Allegra (11 July 2008).
