McVitie’s has just announced a new range of ‘Best Of British Desserts’ flavoured biscuits – AKA the ultimate collab between two of the best things about being British. How did we not realise these were missing from our lives? Simmer for about 5 minutes, remove from the heat and gradually stir in the cream and the vanilla extract. Love a Jaffa Cake? Then you might want to set your sights on the new Orange and Cranberry version. Just like the OG, this festive version has the classic orange centre but with an added extra of cranberry too. Then, Jaffa Cakes (another McVitie’s phenomenon) released their pineapple variant. The fans obvs went wild as this was the closest to a taste of the tropics any of us were going to get this year…This isn’t the first range of flavoured biscuits for McVitie’s to drop this year – remember the cherry bakewell, strawberries and cream and marmalade toast digestives from January? Yep, we can’t believe that was THIS YEAR either. It's always exciting having something new in the biscuit tin, and this line sounds like it gets the perfect balance between trying something new and keeping it classic; using traditional fail-safe desserts as the inspiration behind a delicious makeover for the nation's favourite biccies. You can't go wrong with that plan.
Add the sieved bread soda, vanilla extract and coffee to the date and tea and stir this into the mixture. Calling all biscuit lovers as do we have the news you’ll want to hear. Yes biscuit giant, McVitie’s, are bringing out four new exciting flavours to its range and we can’t wait - just what 2020 needed if we’re honest. The news of the new range was announced on Wednesday 9 November - although we don’t know when exactly the biccies will be available for certain. Our guess is early next year…
