About this deal

Beauty, goodness, and truth. The She Reads Truth Bible embodies all of the aspects of the She Reads Truth community. Featuring devotional readings written by the She Reads Truth team, this Bible invites women to engage with God's Word every day.

Again. I love the content of SRT. I love the studies. I love the aesthetic (though not so much of this new app—it’s too harsh for me—but if that’s what you want then it’s fine). It’s very confusing to me why the app was changed so much, taking away good functionality and maneuvering. She Reads Truth is a worldwide community of women who read the Bible together every day. Founded in 2012, She Reads Truth invites women of all ages to engage with Scripture through daily reading plans, online conversation led by a vibrant community of contributors, and offline resources created at the intersection of beauty, goodness, and Truth.

The CSB She Reads Truth Bible aims to live at the intersection of beauty, goodness, and Truth. Featuring devotionals by the She Reads Truth team, and Scripture reading plans that include supplemental passages for deeper understanding, this Bible invites every woman to count themselves among the She Reads Truth community of "Women in the Word of God every day." The CSB She Reads Truth Bible also features 66 key verses, artfully lettered to aid in Scripture memorization.

Never heard of it? Well, its fairly new, but a great translation that remains true to the text (much like the ESV), but very readable to the modern reader. Two bookmarks (cream and green colored) will help you mark your place easily while you’re reading or listening to a sermon. This is great if you’re a visual learner, but the aesthetics will make most women get excited to be in her Bible.

General Editors

No interlinear notes — Unlike some other study Bibles this one doesn’t have the amount of cross references or study notes as many do. If you’re looking for more in depth explanation of passages in a verse by verse passage–this probably isn’t going to be the study Bible for you. Or it may be one of a couple that you use! (Like I do!) As we get started, would you take a few minutes (six, actually) to watch this helpful introductory video? They have also slipped in a small, but important gratitude list for each book that will motivate you to read and give thanks for that particular book of the Bible. It wouldn’t be an honest review of the She Reads Truth Bible if I didn’t say … This app is designed with you in mind—to give you (and your friends!) a beautiful, functional and accessible Bible-reading and devotional tool in the palm of your hands. The app features— We are women of all ages and stages of life, from all over the world, gathering around this virtual table to feast on the truth of the Gospel of Jesus.

What we want to explore this week is: What is true of God’s word? And, what does that mean for us? How do these foundational truths about Scripture change the way we engage with it and with God? Can we trust the Bible? Do we trust it? But more importantly, the text is laid out in such a smart way so as to give you time and space to engage, reflect, and journal. So although you are limited in your choice of pens, you can still journal!

Designed with this community in mind, the She Reads Truth Bible + Devotional app is a beautiful, functional, and accessible Bible-reading tool created to help women from around the world to connect with God's Word and each other, anytime and anywhere. Whether your Truth time comes in the early morning before the world wakes, during a lunch break at your desk, or in the middle of the night with a baby in your arms—the She Reads Truth app brings your quiet (or not so quiet) time to you, right where you are.

The She Reads Truth Bible also features 66 designs by top calligraphy and hand-lettering artists to aid in memorization and understanding of Scripture. First: let me say that I completely understand the need for changes and updates to an app. That’s totally fine. I think it is perfectly okay to change the look and feel of an app if it works better for functionality or for the ease of the user. Sure, it takes a bit to get used to a new layout, but that’s kosher. Over the next 9 days we will study the characteristics of God’s Word, the Bible, the Holy Scriptures. We will see what God has to say about this text that we gather around each day, that shapes our faith and refines our hearts. Each day’s reading will include a portion of Psalm 119, along with additional scriptures relevant to the day’s topic. Psalm 119 is a remarkable (and remarkably long!) psalm of David in which he exclaims his love for God and His Word over and over. And over.
